Clove pov

When dawn came next morning Cato and I had a plan. I was about to launch over to the table when Foxface sprung out from inside the cornupcopia. Damn, that girl is fast. Right then a girl that had a bow and arrow ran toward the small 12 bag. Katniss. I ran to get my bag when she was running towards me. Perfect. I grabbed a knife and flew it at her. It had gotten her forehead just above her eyebrow. I got ready to fling another one when she shot an arrow at my arm. I pulled it out and thanked my lucky stars it wasn't my knife throwing arm. Right when she was about to shoot another arrow I ran on top of her tackling her. We rolled and I pulled out another knife. She kept kicking me but I was holding her down.

"Where's lover boy huh?"

"He's out there hunting Cato down"

"What's in the bag? Oh thats right you were going to help him weren't you?"

She struggled but I held her down. I'm stronger than her.

"Well that's sweet but too bad you couldn't help your little friend, what was her name again? Rue? Yeah well we killed her. And I promised Cato a good show as long as I got to kill you. Well now we're gonna kill you. Now where should we start. I think... I think i'll start with your mouth. Do you want to blow one last kiss to lover boy?" I said while taking out a small knife.

"Oh well looks like he won't get the medicine. Now I'm going to kill you-" I got cut off because I was lifted in the air. It could only mean two things. Thresh and death. He slammed me up against the wall of the cornupcopia.

"What did you say? You kill her?"

"No i-i didn't-"

"Yeah you did"

"CATO! CATO!-" I got cut off because by then he slammed a rock against my temple. The last few words I heard were from Cato.

"Clove no clove you can't die on me please I love you, Clove do you hear me I love you!"

The last thing I said was,

"Cato, you have to win for me. Remember, together or not at all. I love you too." then I went unconscious.

Cato pov

As soon as I heard Clove call my name with panic I run as fast as I can. I see Clove in a very scary pool of blood.

"Clove, no Clove you can't die on me please I love you, Clove do you hear me I love you!" I scream. I hear Clove say something.

"Cato you have to win for me. Remember, together or not at all. I love you too." and then she blanked out.

Clove is the one I love and I don't want to lose her.

"Someone please help me! Please!" but then I hear a chime. I look up and see a parachute. I open it and in it is medicine. I smear it on Clove's temple hoping it works. I carry her back into the forest hoping she wakes up soon.
