True Colors
You may not think we know,
what’s happening in the world.
And I know some don’t show.
But we see everything that’s been unfurled.
All the people tore down bit by bit.
The fighting, the death and all of the wars.
Scary, isn’t it?
That my generation sees much much more.
Adults hyping,
yet shocked when they see
their very kids fighting,
just to be like Mommy and Daddy.
We see just as much as you.
But we are forced earlier to put those killing instincts to use.
