Trust
People fear.
They fear the animals.
They fear weather.
They fear other people.
They even fear themselves.
But something many people have lost or have fear that they've lost,
is trust.
Trust
When thought of, trust seems unimportant,
something that is kept from the world.
Trust is something more than a word,
it's what makes us human.
We trust that the bus will be here and take us to our destination.
We trust the cashier,
the one who handles our money.
We trust ourselves to make appropriate decisions,
to care for others,
to care for ourselves.
Now sometimes,
people will take the trust you give them
and use it to their advantage.
Those people will take the trust from ourselves.
Will we make the right decision?
Will I trust the wrong person?
Again?
But trust will always be evident.
For ourselves.
For others.
For everything.
So when face with darkness,
we shouldn't be scared to step.
Even into the dark.
