CHAPTER 1:
“Mom, I’m Home” I shouted so that wherever my mom could be she could hear me. And this already became a habit for us that whenever we arrive from school we should tell our parents.
It was the last day of classes today. I feel so happy and excited at last school ended already. I’m also a little bit nervous this sem will be my graduating year and just a year to go and I’m “welcome college life”
“Hija, good thing you are here already. Go pack up your things already. Remember what I said to you last week that we will go to your lolo’s resthouse?”
“Yeah Mom, Will it be today po? Bakit parang ang bilis naman po ng preparations?” I got shocked kasi may balak pa nga kami sana ng bestfriend ko na mag unwind and hangout with some of our classmates. Tapos di pa nga ako prepared sa isusuot ko eh I don’t even know how long we will stay there
“Your lolo wants you to be there immediately anak. Kasama naman ang pinsan mong si Shaun and some of his friends ata”
“Mom, can shiela also come with us? I’m sure she will be excited to see lolo bryan”
“Sure hija, That is a good idea! Sama mo narin sila Pau and Marga if you like. Para madami mas matutuwa ang Papa niyan tutal the Barkada of Shaun will come. Oh hija before I forget you’ll stay there the whole summer”
“WHAT MOM?? Are you dead serious about this? Baka di payagan ang friends ko niyan and province yun mom. You know I can’t stay there for a long period of time” Ang tagal ng two months edi pag balik naming pasukan na agad. How can I enjoy this summer? Siguro naman masaya sa province basta kasama ko sila Marga and Pau. But still 2 months is not gonna be a short time. Maganda naman sa resthouse ni lolo eh and it’s summer. Super init dun ngayon
“Annabeth anak, Everything will be fine. Ako nalang kakausap sa parents ng friends mo if you like. Tapos bukas nalang alis natin for you to prepare” Good thing mom thought of replacing the date of our departure tomorrow. For sure everything will be easy for my mom. Easy access sa lahat eh. Money can really do anything now. Pati sapag kuha ng flight.
“Okay Mom, I’ll prepare my things already” I went upstairs to my room and changed my clothes then I already started packing up my things for the 2 months trip. Until now di parin ako makapaniwala na ganun katagal ang stay naming dun. It is too far from Manila. Away from the Civilization. Di ko lang talaga alam kung ano nagpapayag diyan sa pinsan ko. Mas maarte pa nga ata sakin yun eh tapos pumayag. May kapalit siguro and to think na lalaki yun
I was still busy packing my things when I heard my phone ringing

“Hello?”
[Lolo Bryan’s Resthouse for 2 months??? Are you fcking serious?? May malls ba dun??]
“Hey! Did you even agree to my mom? You keep on ranting already”
[Of course I did! Beach din yun! I also approved because I don’t know maybe I just want to escape manila for a while away from problems] I can hear her voice shuttering. Naalala nanaman niya siguro yung ginawa sakanya ni Mike ex niya. Mike is such a jerk for hurting a girl like Margarette. Well tama nga naman si Marga maganda rin siguro to be away from all the mess here in Manila
“Oo na you are being too dramtic again. Akala ko ba tapos na?” 2 months narin kasi nakalipas and I think she can’t move on kasi nasa school parin yung mga taong nagpapalungkot sakanya and hindi minsan maiiwasan na magkita na magkasama silang dalawa
[Wala na nga may sinabi ba akong meron? Hay nako Annabeth issue ka nanaman ah?]
