Bill waited patiently in the living room of the burrow for Asphodel to finish getting ready. Today was the last day of Christmas break and it was also the last time they'd see each other for a while since they both had to get back to work.

It didn't take long for her to walk down the stairs. She was dressed pretty casually in a pair of jeans and a white jumper. When she got to the bottom of the stairs Bill quickly helped her into her jacket before kissing her cheek. "What do you have planned, Bill?"

"I was just thinking we'd have a nice dinner and then maybe a walk around London, how's that sound?" He asked as he took her hand.

"Lovely."

"Well then, what are we waiting for?" He said, smiling down at her before he apparated into an alley just down the street from the restaurant he planned on taking Asphodel to.

They walked out of the alley, blending in with the crowd of muggles until they got to the nice Italian restaurant they were eating at.

"Is this place fine? Or do you want to eat somewhere else?" Bill asked nervously.

"This place is great!" Asphodel grinned, "I love Italian food."

Bill let a small smile creep onto his face, proud of himself for choosing a good restaurant. He opened the door for Asphodel and led her inside with his hand on her lower back.

An older waitress greeted them with a warm smile and said, "Welcome to Giuseppina's, is it just the two of you today?"

Bill smiled back and said, "Yes." The waitress grabbed two menus and led them to a booth on the far right of the building. She quickly asked what they wanted to drink before rushing off to fetch it for them.

Asphodel looked at her menu and said, "I've never been here before, is their anything you recommend?"

"Well I usually get the raviolis, but they have great chicken alfredo, too." He said.

"I love chicken Alfredo!" She said and looked up at him, "it's my favorite food, you know."

"You've told me." He chuckled, before the waitress came back with their drinks and a basket of breadsticks.

"Are you ready to order, or do you need a couple more minutes?" The older lady asked kindly.

They ordered their meals and once the waitress left they continued their conversation.

"So do you like all Italian food, or is it just chicken alfredo that you like?" Bill asked, leaning over the table, closer to Asphodel.

"I like all Italian food, really. I love pasta." She shrugged, "what kind of food do you like?"

"I'll eat pretty much anything, if I'm being honest. I really like the food in Egypt, though."

"I don't think I've ever tried Egyptian food before."

"Then we'll have to fix that, because your really missing out." The conversation carried on like that until their food arrived. Asphodel reached for her fork and Bill got a good look at the bracelets on her wrist, noticing the friendship bracelets that he saw the first time he met her.

"Who gave you the friendship bracelets?" He asked.

She looked confused for a second until she saw his eyes on her wrist and she realized what he was talking about.

"Oh my friends Maria and Noel gave them to me." She smiled softly to herself. "We all met on the train to Hogwarts in our first year. We made the bracelets in third year. This one-" she pointed at the red and gold one. " is from Noel because she was in Gryffindor like I was, and this one-" she pointed to the green and silver one "is from Maria because she was in Slytherin."

"Cool." Bill said before taking a bite of his ravioli.

"Is it good?" Asphodel asked, curiously.

"Amazing." He said, "wanna try?" He held out his fork that had a ravioli on it.

Asphodel leaned over and took the bite. She chewed it slowly and said "That's really freaking good, I'm going to get that the next time we come here."

Bill watched with a smile on his face as Asphodel chased snowflakes with some kids at the park. They were walking through when a little girl had asked for help catching a snowflake. Asphodel being Asphodel couldn't say no and made it her personal mission to catch as many snowflakes as possible for the little girl and her friends.

After a few minutes the little girl had to leave so Asphodel jogged back over to Bill with a sheepish smile on her face.

"Sorry about that, I didn't mean to leave you to play with some kids."

"It's fine." He took her hand in his, "I quite enjoyed watching you desperately try to catch snowflakes even though they just melt the moment they land on your hand."

"Well I had to try, didn't I?"

"Yes, I suppose you did." He chuckled before placing a kiss on her temple.

"I had a great time, tonight." Asphodel said that night after they apparated into the fields surrounding the burrow. Bill smiled brightly at her as they started to slowly walk towards the house.

"Does that mean you'd like to do this again? Another date, I mean..." Bill said fighting the blush off his face. Asphodel looked up at him and let out a light giggle at the redness on his cheeks, "I would love that, Bill." His smile brightened before his nervousness crept back.

"Would it be okay if I uh, if I could call you my uh my girlfriend from now on?" he looked timidly back and forth from his shoes and her face. Asphodel stopped their slow pace and turned to look at him only to see he was looking down. She wasn't used to seeing him this nervous and figured she'd have to be the confident one in this situation.

"Bill." she spoke softly, once he met her gaze she slowly leaned in and pressed her lips to his. Bill felt his heart skip a beat and quickly returned the kiss, placing one hand on her hip and bringing his other up to rest on her face as she wrapped her arms around his neck. They both felt butterflies flying around their stomach and didn't separate until they felt the need for air.

Once they inched away from each other Asphodel let out a soft chuckle and said, "I would love to be your girlfriend, Bill Weasley."
