[Maskedpaw's POV]

It was the morning I was going to finally become a warrior! I had been training so hard for this and it was even pushed back and almost forgotten about when we came into this territory. I was so ready. I woke up early and started to clean my fur before I heard Bearstar call the meeting. I hurried out with my friends only wishing that Galaxy could be here with me. I missed her a lot and Tinyclaw was going to pay dearly for killing her in front of my very own eyes.

"All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under High Rock!" The dark brown furred leader yowled for all of the clan to hear. I looked at my friends and sat near the front of the gathering of all the warriors.

"We are here to discuss one thing and make some apprentices warriors. We will start with the ceremony first. I have to say, I have watched these apprentices since they were kits and they were always the best. You three deserve to become warriors now.

"Maskedpaw, please step forward. From this moment on you shall be called Maskedpine. We welcome you as a full warrior and hope that you continue to serve this clan with all of your heart." Bearstar smiled down to me. I was shaking with joy. Next to me, Grasspaw nudged me forward.

I was so happy. I looked up at the blue sky. I hope you are seeing this Galaxy. I have become a warrior! I wish you could become one with me. I thought to myself before stepping back for the other two apprentices to become warriors.

"Stormpaw, please come forward. From this day on you shall be called Stormleap. We welcome you as a full warrior and hope you continue to serve the clan with your whole heart and best of interest.

"Grasspaw, please come forward. From this day forward you shall be called Grasswave. We welcome you as a full warrior and hope you continue to help your clan with your whole heart." Bearstar yowled for the other two apprentices. I saw the joy in their face. Shellpaw and Shardpaw stayed in the back. I felt bad they weren't being made apprentices with us, but they had just joined us.

"The thing we needed to discuss is that instead of less than a moon away for the attack, we have less than a half a moon. The leader of the Dark Forest, Tinyclaw, is going to have her kits in just a little bit over a quarter moon. It could be even sooner if she gives birth early. We have to train as hard as we can for this attack. We will not let the Dark Forest take control of SmallClan!" Bearstar yowled earning a crowd of cheers to erupt from the warriors.

We couldn't lose to the Dark Forest no matter what. There were six clans and we would unite if we had to in order to keep the Dark Forest away.
