Touka POV
The police didn't believe me yesterday when I told them about Ryoto. So the dangerous murderer was still out there in the wild school. Kaneki was back too.
"I thought you would be dead!" I cried.
"I thought so too!" He smiled.
"Kaneki," I asked. "Can I tell you something?"
"Yes anything," he said.
"Higaku is going to die today, and he's the guy I really like," I whispered.
"I could try to prevent that," he suggested.
"Oh Kaneki! You're the best!" I hugged him again.
Things were looking up.
Kaneki POV
I couldn't believe it. She said I was the best! But she likes Higaku...
I have a plan.
"Hey Yatsuhama," I said. "Do you think you could confess to him?"
"I-I what?" She said blushing. She's so cute when she's blushing.
"Yeah. Or follow him all day," I said. "Ryoto can't kill him if you're around right?"
Her eyes widened in a why didn't I think of this? way. I chuckled.
"Just talk to him today. Ask him what he thinks about the murders," I said.
"Okay!" Touka smiled. She ran up to the roof where Higaku always sits. A tear rolled down his face.
"Don't cry, you have a plan. Project Get Higaku To Not Accept Touka's Feelings is a go." I said, and ran off.
