Leon's P.O.V
I slam the phone down on the metal bench, frustration coursed through me. The professor had already gotten to her. He'd hurt her. Punching the wall beside him, he heard the bones in his knuckles crack and gritted his teeth as they started to heal. He'd ask Elloise to follow her back to the university as he didn't trust the teachers. Not after what she admitted.

"Leon, just don't get mad and let me finish okay?" Elloise said her voice crackling because of the bad service.
"WHAT" i growled my wolf howling with concern.
"Well Cara.. she's not dead but she's not exactly alive..." Elloise whispered, hearing her buckle her seatbelt and start he car engine.
"THEN WHAT IS SHE" i yell through the phone"
"Look don't yell i got there in time but that Professor guy had her strapped down and shocking her with high volts, if she wasn't connected to you she would be dead. Do you feel drained?" she asked sounding more worried about me. But yes i was feeling tired but that didn't matter.
"Bring her to the warehouse i'll call in the Mike, he won't like it but he'll get over it" i say quickly. Mike was Elloise's boyfriend, my flat mate, he was also had fae blood in him which made him useful when a wolf was injured.
"I'll be there in 20" she said before hanging up.
Present
Pacing the empty warehouse, Mike upstairs setting up a room and sorting through herbs and medicines he could use. He was a little worried that when Cara saw him she'd freak like he did back at his apartment, leaving her belongings which he bought along and had put beside the bed upstairs. All of a sudden the screeching of tires could be heard and a few moments later a silver volvo speeds into the warehouse shining light into his eyes. Ignoring the reaction to blink he rushes to the car and opens the door seeing a crumbled Cara laying in the back seat looking pale, sweat tracing her hairline. Grabbing her he carried her upstairs and layed her on the bed Mike had set up.
Elloise appears in the doorway and rushes to the other side.
"Now her heartbeat has been changing from deathly slow to dangerously high, i don't understand how she is still alive, her breath is jagged and she stopped breathing 3 times but her heart kept beating. It was so stressful driving here" Elloise said running a hand through her short hair.
I look over at Mike checking Cara's vitals and writing on a notepad hastily, her usually tan skin was sickly pale and her fingers were twitching every now and then.
"She freaked out when i told her she was mine earlier.. ran off back to the school, i should of stopped her.." i say my voice breaking guilt eating away at me. Elloise patted me on the shoulder and moved out of the doorway and down the hall into one of the empty rooms. Most likely to get a hold of herself.
"How is she" i ask moving closer to Mike. He slightly turns his head in my direction.
"Her vitals are returning to normal, apart from the twitching and re-appearing goosebumps she should wake up quite soon" Mike said closing his notebook and went to the bench grabbing a silver like dust in his fingertips and walked to Cara opening her mouth and sprinkling the dust on her tongue.
"Nosfer" i state calmly. Nosfer was given to coma patients to wake them up and revive and prepare the body to awaken, restoring vitamins and nutrients to body.
"She'll be fine Leon now go eat" Mike said walking out of the room leaving him and Cara by themselves. Walking to the bed he pulled over a chair taking her small, soft hand into his and stroking it with his long fingers. Her breathing hitched slightly but returned to normal, her long eyelashes curled naturally layed against her cheek and her plush lips were so inviting. Leaning down he gently pressed his lips to her hand and hummed a song quietly.

Cara's P.O.V
My whole body tingled, not in a bad way but in a way that made me want to have a shower to cleanse myself of this feeling. Pressure was applied to my hand and i heard quiet humming somewhere near me. Tearing my eyes open they water at the bright light and i blink a few times to focus.
"You're finally awake" I hear a familiar voice say, i turn my head and see Leon stroking my hand and smiling, dark bags were under his eyes and his hair was messy.
"What happened?" I ask remembering the last thing i remember is thinking i died, his long fingers traced circles on my palm calmed me so i didn't pull away.
"Please listen to me and don't freak out ok. What you are is special very rare in humans. Your birthmark is also the symbol for being a wolf's sharing soul.. a mate. The reason you have stronger senses and notice things others don't is because all the power that flows through me, flows through you" Leon says careful not to come on too strong "it was destined for me to find you, the Professor or Alex as what you call him punishes you and the other soul sharers because he knows you see past his facade so he needs to break you. But i know he hasm't broken you Cara, not you" he finishes looking me in the eyes.
I try and process what he says, it makes sense logically as i've always been super fast, good at seeing, hearing and fit. And having the same marking as the other "soul sharers" can't be a coincidence can it?
"I just met you Leon" i whisper tearing my eyes away from his and looking at the white sheets that layed on top of me. I heard him sigh gently i look at him from under my eyelashes.
"I know and its hard to explain because being a wolf your born and taught your whole life that your mate will accept you no matter what and you'll feel connected instantly but with you being mostly human its not like that" Leon said. "But i have to fight and earn your feelings" he lifted his head and looked at me "i will fight for them every second i'm with you".
