Everlark Smut <3 - Part 1

This is the first thing i have ever written so no hate please!

Written from Katniss' POV.

I woke up this morning the same way i have every morning for the past 4 years, with Peeta beside me. I love waking before him and watching him sleep. He looks so peaceful that i often forget the pain he endured in the hands of The Capitol, but those days are behind us now.

Today was our 4th anniversary so i decided to make him breakfast in bed, Usually Peeta is the sweet, thoughtful one but because of all he has done for me over the years, i love making him feel special whenever i can. I went downstairs to make breakfast. I prepared some cheese buns which Peeta had baked yesterday, my favourite. I decided to have one too because I knew i had a lot ahead of me. I began to head back upstairs as Peeta was waking up. I sat on the bed beside him and leaned over to kiss him just as his eyes were opening, 'Hey Babe', he said through his sexy smile, 'I made you breakfast', I replied. 'Wow, so our Mockingjay can be thoughtful!', 'Shut up Peeta', I replied, laughing.

'So what are we going to do today?', I ask, 'It is our anniversary and the kids are with Gale...', 'I have something in mind', he replied through a mouthful of his cheese bun. He is so sexy. Everything about him is sexy, I am grateful everyday for being able to spend my life with him.

He turns around and puts his empty plate on the floor before turning back to face me. He places his hands on my hips and leans in to kiss me. Oh God, he is such a great kisser.

After a few minutes he pulls back and looks deep into my eyes for what feels like a long time, 'I love you', he declares, before kissing me again. Oh I love him more than he will ever know!
