Today I start my job as a lifegaurd at the pool. Yesterday I was getting in my application and they hired me!
We were there early to get ready for the people. I was already in my life gaurd outfit, which was the regular red, one piece swim suit.
I was sitting in the girls changing room putting on some sun-screen. When someone came up to me.
"Hey Emily! I didn't know you got a job here."
I looked up and there she was. Abby.
"Oh yeah. I got the job yesterday."
"Cool, hey can I borrow some sun-screen I forgot mine at home."
"Oh, sure here." I gave her the sun-screen.
She sprade her self with the sun-screen. When she was done she gave it back to me then we started talking for a while.
When we were talking, I stopped and was looking her in the eyes and she did the same. We stayed like that for a few seconds before we both started leaning in......
"OKAY EVERYONE GET TO YOUR STATIONS THE POOL OPENS IN ABOUT TWO MINUTES."
We pulled away from each other really fast and when we did, we both blushed.
"Well I guess we should get going?" Abby said then she got up and ran to the front desk because she was working there first.
I started giggling like a school girl and started doing a happy dance.
I then went outside to the lifeguard post and sat in it.

The five o'clock break was now here and I decided to stay since I really had no reason to leave because I brought my own food. I also saw that Abby also decided to stay.
She came over to me with her food that she brought and we both started to eat in silence.
"Hey Emily, do you wanna come over to my house for a sleepover with some other girls from school?" Abby asked me
"Oh um yeah! Wait. Is Trishana gonna be there because she doesn't like me and I really don't like her. Also she calls me a lot of stuff that really hurts me."
"Yeah. She is going to be there but..."
She put her hand in mine.

"I won't let her. If she does anything bad or mean to you, just tell me and I think I might actually kill her." She said looking at our hands then at me, smiling.
I smiled back.
We then heard a ding. It was Abby's phone.
She picked it up and she unlocked her phone to see what it was.
"Oh, that's Gracie. She's taking over for me because I have to baby sit my little sister. So, see you later Em!" She got up and she let go of my hand then she kissed me on the cheek then she grabbed her stuff then, went off.
Then Gracie came in, she was already in the uniform and then she told me she was going to go outside and swim while we have the chance to.
I nodded then she went off.
I touched the cheek Abby kissed me on then I quickly grabbed my phone to call Izzy to tell her about what Abby did.
*Their conversation* E=Emily I=Izzy S=Sawyer.
E: Hey Izzy Izzy Izzy Izzy Izzy Izzy!
I: What, I'm busy.
E: I don't care. Guess what!
I: What?
E: ABBY JUST INVITED ME TO A SLEEP OVER AT HER HOUSE AND WE WERE HOLDING HANDS AND SHE KISSED MEH CHEEK!
I: Oh....My.....GOSH *has a fan girl attack*
E: Izzy? Izzy? M8?
S: Izzy had a fan girl attack and she passed out.
E: Okay- wait Sawyer what are you doing there?
S: ........I actually don't know why, I just drove over to her house and we have been talking together for about three hours.....
