Chapter 1: A Good Friend

Annie's pov:
Today I am going to LA! We are going to see JoJo and she's going to show me her new friend, Hayden. I've seen him on Instagram, but never in person. I'm so excited! We get off the plan and drive down to JoJos place. I give her a big hug. Then standing behind her there's a boy with curly hair, he was kinda cute. I was guessing that was Hayden. "Hayden this is Annie, Annie this is Hayden." "Hi" we both say smiling. I think JoJo can tell I'm falling for him. She gives me a little smirk. We decided to walk around and give me a tour. After the tour we went down to the beach to meet this other girl Kenzie. " Hey JoJo! Hey babe!" And gives Hayden a hug. My heart crushes. Hayden has a girlfriend? Oh no. I introduce myself, "Hey I'm Annie!" I say. She looks at me "oh hi" she says. I wonder why she doesn't seem to like me being here. She holds Hayden's hand and looks at me. In her eyes she had the mean look. I look down and say "So what's next?" Hayden let's go of Kenzie's hand and runs over to me. He grabs my arm and tells me to come here. We all start running. We finally got to this café. "It's time for lunch!" He said smiling at us. Kenzie stared at me with the evil eye the whole time. I ignored it. Then Hayden saw what she was doing. "Kenzie are you okay? Is there something wrong with Annie?" Not looking away she says "No Hayden I'm fine, you know we should go somewhere ourselves, alone." Hayden looks at her weird. "Why? Can't I hang out with these guys for a bit?" She gives him a sour look, he doesn't notice. "Hey mister, we are guys!!" JoJo says with a laugh following it. We all start laughing, but not Kenzie. She says "I have to go, bye" and leaves. "Well now that she has to go, wanna go for a walk?" Hayden says. "Sure" me and JoJo say. We talked and laughed the whole time. It was so fun! Once it was time to go home, I got Hayden's text so we can plan the next hang out and went home. I was really tired so I took a nap. When I wake up and go on Instagram I see something crazy! What was Kenzie thinking!
