Chapter 8: The party

Annie pov:
I wake up and Hayden's already in the bathroom doing his hair. I get dressed, walk into the bathroom and smile at him. "Happy birthday babe!" I say. He smiles "can't believe you remembered!" He sad with a smile. I run into the closet, and come back with a gift for him. I got him a ring that says "A+H". When he opens it his smile is bright. I show him my matching ring. "Thank baby!" He says and gives me a kiss. I get dressed and sit on the bed on my phone. Hayden comes over and sits next to me and ask what I'm doing. I tell him im making his birthday post. He smiles and gives me a kiss, but before he pulls away I put my hand behind his head so he knows not to let go. We fall on the bed laughing. "I'm taking you to your favorite diner for your birthday! Just let me take a picture of us for your birthday post." I say. He gives me a kiss and I take the picture. It looks so cute, I write as the caption "Happy birthday babe! You make me smile everyday! I have no idea what I would be without u! Ilysm!" And posted it. Lots of "happy birthday Hayden" post are up. We head to the diner and took a seat. "Thank you babe for a amazing breakfast!" He says and gives me a kiss. I love him!
Hayden pov:
Annie has made this birthday the best. I couldn't ask for more. My phone goes off with a text. It's from Kenzie. I look at Annie. I show her the notification. She laughs and tells me to look at it.
K: Happy birthday Hayden! I miss you and I really want you back. I'm sorry about what happened before.
I laugh thinking the odds of that ever happening. Annie is a beautiful girl, I wouldn't give her up for the world. I decided I would text her back.
H: thx and no
That was better! She text me back and we start a conversation. As I type Annie's head lays on my shoulder.
K: please?
H: no and never please leave me alone
K: you really want Annie over me? That brat!
That made Annie's eyes full with tears. Kenzie can be so mean. I text her back and end the conversation.
H: Kenzie I love Annie more then I ever loved you. I don't think she's the brat here, you are. Please leave us alone because we are happy.
Annie gave me a kiss when she saw me type that. I post a picture of Annie on Snapchat saying "birthday breakfast with Annie! Love her <3" after breakfast Annie went home. I felt kinda lonely without her there. I decided to text her to tell her how much I love her. Then I go on Instagram to see my birthday post.  Jojo post one that said "happy birthday big bro! Love you bestie!!" I liked the post and sat there looking up at the ceiling. I miss Annie. I text her again.
H: baby girl I miss you xx
A: me too babe :(
H: see you at my birthday party later? Got a big surprise for you there!!
A: you bet I am! Love you!!
H: love you more ;)
She makes me feel so lucky. I decide I should get ready. I were my black jeans, sneakers and a sweatshirt. I tell my dad that I'm heading to set up the party. When I get there I start helping Carson, Johnny, and Conner set up. "So Hayden, what's up with Annie?" Carson ask. "I love her!" I say. Johnny smirks and says "did you kiss herrr?!" I laugh and say "maybe we made out yesterday, but that's none of your business!" They all go "ohhhh" and finish setting up. Then the DJ comes and people start to arrive. I see Annie come and I run to her. "Happy birthday baby!!" She says and gives me a kiss. "Thanks babe!" I say with a smile. I hold her hand and walk her to the center of the dance floor. A slow dance comes on and we dance. No one else does, they just stare and smile. At the end of the dance I give Annie a long kiss, not a make out though. Everyone cheers I ask my brother Dylan to take a picture of us. I give her a kiss for the picture and post it saying "never been more happy, love my baby girl <3" Kenzie comments "ugh" and I delete it. Annie and I go with our friends and dance. I walk up to the girls group and ask "may I take Annie?" They all look at her and smile. "Yes you may" Jayden says. Annie blushes and takes my hand.
Annie pov:
As we walk I wonder if this is his surprise. He walks me out the back door. It's completely dark out. We walk over to the field and he kisses me. I kiss back. We start making out. We were there for a long time. He was sitting and I was on his lap by now. I hear a voice come through around the corner. It's Kenzie. "Well, well, well. Kissers over here?" Hayden stands up and says "why are you here?" He looks mad. I hold his hand. She smirks and says "I saw your insta post. How rude was it not to invite me?" Hayden rolls his eyes. We walk around the building and start kissing again. This was a shorter one. We go back to the party and every chants "HANNIE! HANNIE!" We smile and Hayden yells "WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM US!" But not in a mean way. It a playful way. They chant "KISS KISS KISS" we look at each other and blush. Carson pats him on the back and says "come on man!" We go in for a kiss. Everyone cheers. It was time for cake. We sang happy birthday and ate the cake. After the party Hayden gave me a hug goodbye and I never wanted to let go. "Bye babe!!" I yell. "Bye baby girl!" He yells back. I get home. I'm so tired I go strait to bed.
