May the future hold the pieces
Of those who fought as
Brave and Stalwart
Women and men
Not against war, though they aren't neglect nor forgotten, but
against societies regnant.
Brining new ideas
Receiving heedlessness
In their era their thoughts were merely rubbish
The people did not see their importance nor recognize how it would bring new approaches towards science, history and the building of the world their great great grandsons would live in.
What's left to say,
if not the right one,
That as their lineage
We should at least remember and show gratitude upon their tomb stones.
Their fight was strong
They fought for us
As well for the long
Long time to pass
Let us take those pieces
Newspaper articles, book references, in fact, the History of them.
Women and Men.
Take them with pride
Carry with eulogy.
