If with thee may a moment last, just enough to remember but not enough to hold on...
May I intake the secondhand smoke you leave behind?
As I inhale
I hold on to my eyes
As they examine my skull
I hold on because if let
I'll loose them again into the world I once got lost with you.
My eyes can't take another trip
My mouth can no longer taste
The extasis I still want
I still miss it
But second hand smoke will do
I'll die anyways
But...
If I die tomorrow
Let my sorrows burn through your lungs like the loneliness kindled my brittle heart.
You were the fire at the filtered end of my cigarrette,
Only meant to last
Less than a fortnight
But coating in ashes the remaining years of my lifespan.
My soul,
A recollection of ashes
That power my limbs towards what consumes your own
What was lost in the aftermath of you.
Complete me...
