As soon as I walked through that door, my eyes greeted four people, also known as the four people I despise most.
First, my eyes greeted Austin, then Will, and finally, Ashley.
Then, when I looked toward the front, where I assumed the supervisor would be, I saw Mrs. Patzeli.
This was going to suck majorly.
Mrs. Patzeli stood up and walked towards me.
When she was close enough to me, she stopped and held out her hand, "Give me your phone," she demanded.
I internally rolled my eyes, pulling my phone out of my pocket and handing it to her.
When I sat down, she began speaking;
"Alright," she announced, "now that you're all here, we can begin. You are not allowed to talk to each other, you may not work on homework or class work, you cannot read," she said, raising her voice possibly higher than necessary.
"You know what you can do?" She questioned us.
I opened my mouth, ready to reply, but I guess she wasn't looking for a legit answer.
"You can sit there, with your mouths shut, for the whole hour, and think about what you did to land yourselves in here."
Why can't I even work on my homework? This was complete bullshit, I was already a decently busy person with limited time to work with, and now, I was forced to lose even more time, because of some bitch who thinks I'm after 'her' man.
We sat in complete silence for just a few minutes, when Mrs. Patzeli gets up and makes her way to the door, "I'm going to go do a few things... Don't do anything stupid, and don't break the detention rules," she rolled her eyes, "if you forget the rules, read the sign," she said, pointing to a poster board in the front of the classroom with a handwritten list of all the rules.
"Also, I will find out if anything happens that isn't supposed to. I'm watching you guys," she stated finally, pointing toward the upper back corner of the classroom, where a camera was seen, angled in a way where it can see everything in the room.
After she finished talking, she almost immediately left, slamming the door behind her, as if it was torturous for her to be here.
"Well, well," Austin says, to my astonishment, considering the fact that he's been on mute pretty much all freaking day, "what did you do to land yourself in here, baby girl?"
I ignored him, so Ashley responded for me.
"She slept with Will." Ashley claimed.
Austin immediately lost his grin, "What the fuck, Will?" He stood up, getting into Will's personal space, though Will didn't really seem bothered or frightened in even the slightest.
"Dude," Will stated calmly, "you need to chill the fuck out. We didn't have sex," he sighed, "I mean, I wish we did, but we didn't..."
I rolled my eyes, and Ashley frowned almost instantly.
"Don't say that, Will. It's disgusting and honestly upsetting that you look at and think about other girls when you and I clearly have a thing going."
Now Will rolled his eyes, "No, Ashley, we don't have a thing. You just like to think that we do. I had sex with you once, would you just let it go?" Will stated angrily.
"Oh, dear, it was more than once," she smirked.
"A couple times," he angrily sighed, "but that doesn't mean anything. I don't want you. I don't want to be with you. Get that through your head!"
