...One Week Later...
"Beep.... beep.... beeppppppppp--"
My arm unconsciously slammed against the nightstand and the top of the alarm, knocking it over in the process. I heard someone suddenly barge in as I slowly got up, stretching a bit.
"Good grief! Can you not do that when you wake up, I thought you fell... or broke something," mother whined quietly. "Though you might've already," she said, sparing a glance to the clock on the ground.
A small smile escaped as I gave her an apologetic smile, placing the clock back ontop of the nightstand and greeting her properly, before heading into the bathroom to start the day. As I grabbed my uniform, I noticed how short the skirt is, and grabbed a pair of leggings from my dresser.
I'd rather be safe than sorry... though I did appreciate the color of it, black.
As I finished buttoning up the last few buttons on my shirt, I had quickly grabbed my back and came down from the stairs, grabbing a few pieces of French toast as I made my way towards the door, telling my mother goodbye.
When I looked at the brochure my mother had given me, I realized my school wasn't really far away... it was a couple of houses away. It was great, considering that I wasn't the best at directions.
As I made my way towards the steps of the school, a swarm of students suddenly crowded me, pushing me forward until I banged into someone, falling down in the process.
Regaining my composure, I looked up to see a male student, his eyes narrowed as he ruffled his orange hair, glaring at me. Alongside him, six other male students seemed to be with him, all giving me the same stare.
"Watch where you're going, pabo (idiot)." The male had warned, slowly crouching down until he was squatting. He tilted his head a bit, his tongue pressing against his cheek in doing so. I laughed.
"Well, I'm sorry. It wasn't as if I had intentionally bumped into you, I have no reason to. I could say the same to you, however, maybe you should also watch where you're going, to avoid causing a situation such as this?" I muttered sarcastically, rolling my eyes as I patted my skirt down, standing up.
The orange-haired man had done the same, looking me along with his colleagues.
"What's your name, doll?" I clicked my tongue in annoyance, though in the back of my mind I had thanked myself for wearing leggings.
"Nothing for you to concern yourself with, pretty boy." You retorted, as another friend suddenly stepped forward, with bright green, minty hair. You could've sworn there were regulations and a code policy against hair dye...
So you probably ran into the delinquents, you thought, great first impression on a school day too.
"And why is that?" The mint-haired one spoke, stepping forward.
"Because mint," you started, "You're all probably too stupid to remember..." The mint-haired boy grabbed my arm, in the result of me stepping back and throwing his arm off of me, before turning away and walking off.
I couldn't even make it into the actual building before I knocked into another person, falling back once more.
How many people am I going to knock into, today? I groaned at the thought, staring up at two students who looked down at me concerningly.
One of them had toffee-colored skin, wavy brown hair, and chocolate doe-like eyes. While the other had a lighter complexion, painted with a few freckles, chocolate eyes and a sweet smile.
"Are you okay? I'm sorry I banged into you, I wasn't paying attention... it happens often." The first girl muttered the last part under her breath, pulling me up. My eyes widened as I almost toppled over at the sudden yank, to which the second girl helped me plant my feet correctly, before extending her hand outward.
"I'm Haylie. Class president. And that's Alex," she said, to which my gaze followed to the girl next to her, awkwardly smiling. "She's vice-president. You must be new? I haven't seen you around here..." she trailed off.
"Oh! I'm new, yeah." Haylie grinned, pulling me along with her.
"Well then! Come follow us to the principal's office and we'll get your schedule! Welcome, by the way," I smiled before clutching the straps of my bag following her.
I have friends...
As the piece of parchment went into my hands, both Haylie and Alex peered over my shoulders, smiling.
"It seems we have some classes with you, follow us and we'll show you around...?"
"(Y/N)," I answered, heading to my first class of the day...
Science.
~ Orange Haired Boy's POV~
I was walking alongside Jungkook and Taehyung as the other four hyungs were in front of us, complaining about another week in school when I felt someone fall into my back, soon on the ground. I rolled my eyes as I turned around, glaring at her.
She must be new, I thought, That or another stupid follower.
"Watch where you're going, pabo." I remarked, crouching down as I stared at her distraught face, before she spoke.
"Well, I'm sorry. It wasn't as if I had intentionally bumped into you, I have no reason to. I could say the same to you, however, maybe you should also watch where you're going, to avoid causing a situation such as this?" My eyes widened at I stared at her, rolling my eyes before standing up, to which she had done the same.
"What's your name, doll?" I asked, my tongue sticking out and swiping over the bottom-portion of my lips, tilting my head to the side as I laughed.
"Nothing for you to concern yourself with, pretty boy." She mocked, making me smirk wider at her insult. Before I could make another remark, Yoongi had stepped forward, glowering.
"And why is that?"
"Because mint," she paused, making me chew my lip to bite back my laugh, "You're all probably too stupid to remember..." Yoongi didn't seem to take the insult very well, and grabbed her arm. She pulled it back, before walking over. Soon becoming the talk among us as Yoongi complained about her, muttering a few cuss words as he walked ahead.
"She seemed irritating as hell," Jungkook commented, cracking his head. "Might be a pain in the ass to see in the future," I laughed as he said that, shoving my hands into my pockets.
"She seems... fun." I muttered, to which Jungkook coughed. "Fun? She just insulted you, Jimin-hyung..."
"Doesn't mean she isn't fun, she's got more balls than most of the boys around here," I continued on, my eyes darting towards her figure and two others.
She had to be friends with them, I groaned, Out of all the people here. No wonder, they're the same person.
As I made my way inside, all seven of us leaned against the lockers around the corner, while my gaze scanned across the hall to see her at the office, with a schedule in her hands. As she walked with Alex and Haylie, another laugh passed through my throat as they turned.
"What the hell are you laughing for, Jimin. You look like a psychopath," Jungkook noted, before I hit him harshly for the lack of the honorific. He winced as he rubbed his arm, a string of curses flying out into the air.
"Guess who has the same first-class as us," I muttered under my breath, gesturing to the laboratory.
