As I entered the classroom, my eyes wandered to all the different chemicals placed out in an organized pattern. All aligned, the substances that were more harmful and acid-like near the teacher, and his desk. The room itself had smelt of cleaning supplies, but the trays of elements seemed to excite you.

"If you wanna join us, we sit on lab five," Haylie suggested as she brought up a stool and sat in one of the labs closer to the back. Alex followed close behind, scattering a series of notebooks over the top of the desk, looking for the correct one. I sat down in the seat next to them, smiling.

Until a series of screams echoed through the halls and into the classroom, startling me.

Geez, fangirls are lethal.

I thought, turning my attention to what was the cause of the voice. My expression dropped as I counted seven heads enter the room, until I realized they were the same exact boys from this morning.

You have the best luck, don't you?

The tiny orange-haired boy smirked as I made eye-contact with him, muttering something to the rest of his friends, as they passed me. Each gave me a glare as they sat in the laboratory behind me, making me internally scream. Haylie took my arm, noticing my irritation, and grinned.

"Hey (y/n)? Have you ever tried to eat a clock? It's very time-consuming." Haylie joked, studying my expression.

"Terrible pun..." Alex smirked, "Do you have a better one?" I stared at her shocked before the leg of my chair was kicked, turning my head towards the boys. My attention went immediately to the orange-haired one, seeing his small smirk.

"Knock it off shorty," I warned, turning my attention back to Haylie and Alex. It wasn't long before I was kicked once more.

"Stop. It." I spoke through gritted teeth, watching as his tongue stuck out.

"No."

"I'll cut your tongue off if I see it again," I threatened, turning to see a handful of girls glaring in my direction.

"Mr. Park, I don't think it'd be wise to pester students, new ones especially. Or would you rather be sent to the office and have your mother find out?"  Haylie suggested, twisting the pencil in her hands as she gave him a look. Seeing his grimace, she continued cheerfully.

"Well then! Maybe you should take some time on other things, how about stretching? I heard your height can boost if you do so regularly," she finished, learning a series of laughs from the classroom.

Jimin rolled his eyes.

"Maybe you shouldn't add your two cents and mind your own business... but I guess you can't help it, can you? Gossip and talking suits you both the best, since you're both representatives, of course. Everyone knows how nosy they are."

"Right... and that's no different from you? A teenager who thinks bullying others and putting themselves up a slot in this stupid "high-school status" matters? Once you graduate, keep in mind that it doesn't matter. Looks can only get you so far, Jimin. Character is vital, and yours is rubbish." Haylie fought back, ignoring the looks everyone had given her.

My attention turned to Alex, who seemed to be fiddling with her fingers rather than engaging and defending herself.

Why is she just sitting there and not taking back and standing up for herself?

Haylie sat back down, knowing she had won the argument. Alex had opened her notebook, preparing for the lesson silently. Her complete silence piqued my interest, however, I didn't want to overstep, I had only known them for the past hour or so.
