As soon as the distinct, irritable beeping was heard, my hand came crashing down on the button, knocking it over in the process. As it plopped to the ground, I groaned, as yesterday's events began to reply in my mind like a movie. It was a nightmare, hopefully, if I'm lucky at least... things will be relatively different.

Preparing myself (both mentally and physically) for today's schedule, my phone began to consistently buzz with notifications. Hurriedly finishing the buttons of my shirt, I walked over to the stand and scanned the messages.

(A/n: Okay! So bold is Haylie, Alex is italicized, and you are underline! )

From Fam:

Haylie: Mornin' (Y/n)!

Me: Good morning Haylie

Alex: Hey guys! Today we get to find out what Mr. Lee was talking about yesterday! We also get to see some people gloomy for once lmaoooooo

Me: k first calm down

you're wayyyyy to into this

Haylie: Yeah...

Haylie: ya alright?

Alex: sure,, anyhowwwww can't wait to see you in school

Me: see ya there!

Haylie: Bye!

Shoving my phone into the pockets of my pants, I skipped down the stairs and towards the kitchen.

"Annyeong!" I greeted my mother I helped set the table for breakfast. She silently smiled in response, as she finished, before turning to me.

"(Y/n)?" My mother asked me. My attention was fully directed towards her, seeing her face slowly turn into worry, I hadn't even noticed my aunt beside her, tapping her shoulder.
"I don't know how to explain this...but..." She began to jumble over her words, before my aunt butted in.
"Your mother has been invited to a party? Apparently her boss' son's birthday is coming up, but since she is unavailable. So you, her daughter, are to attend for her..." My aunt said, heading towards the coffee machine and pouring herself a huge mug of.

"Mom! I didn't agree to this! Why don't I get a say?" I asked angrily. "And wouldn't it be weird? It's their son's birthday party, and the daughter goes instead?"

"I think it's just an excuse to flaunt their riches," my aunt whispered to me, "Who knows? Maybe he likes your mother--"

"When's the party?" I interrupted, utterly disgusted for her to even mention that possibility. My aunt smiled at my reactions, before turning to my mother to elaborate.
"The week after next week, Saturday, 7'o'clock." She said. I ruffled my head as I continued to make myself some food, rushing.

If I don't leave now, I'll be late to school...

I dumped my dishes in the sink (ignoring the complaints of my aunt), and scrammed out the door and towards school. From a distance I could see Haylie and Alex patiently waiting for my arrival, checking their watches as they looked around. I ran and smiled, before greeting them.

"Annyeong!" They yelled as they hugged back, (by 'them' I meant Haylie, while Alex just stood there smiling, patting my back awkwardly).

Socially awkward much?

We walked inside the school, and were greeted by twelve boys, that seemed to be in their own world, arguing and complaining amongst themselves.

"(Y/n)? Who's better, me or Bacon?" Chen asked as he smiled, pointing to himself and Baekhyun. Everyone stopped as they waited for my answer, while I let out a loud hum as I began to think.
"Bacon of course," I shouted, seeing Chen slowly frown and Baekhyun grabbing me victoriously.
"Thank you, (Y/n)! I knew I could count on you," He chanted, while I raised a brow and pushed him away a bit.
