I plunked down on my bed and sighed. Just then my mother walked in "What's the matter?" She asked sitting down beside me "I-I don't want to talk about it..." I said blushing a bit "Amber you know you can tell me anything." She said "Fine, I think I have a crush on this--.." Mother cut me off before I could finish what I said "oh! Who is it!?" She asked I looked at her and glanced at the floor "He's the new kid and he's sweet, kind, and has a great since of humor." I said smiling because I'm thinking of him "What's his name?" Mother asked I looked up at her "Sonny John Moore..." I said my mom's eyes widened "That's a nice name..."She said I looked back down at the floor "Yeah.."I said "Well I'll leave you alone now...okay?" mother asked I just nodded. She walked out and closed the door behind her.

The next day as I walked into the classroom I looked over at sonny who soon noticed me, he sat up and waved at me. I waved back and walked over to my seat. I sat down. "hey." Sonny chirped "Hi." I replied looking down at my desk "what's wrong?" He asked "oh, nothing..." I said "doesn't seem like it...Tell me the truth, please?" He asked I bite my lip "...I-I...don't want to say it..." I said Sonny was silent after what I said. I had butterfly's in my stomach because I don't know how he would react if I told him I loved him. Mr.Mcgarr walked in the class "Alright class let's get started." He said "Your work is on the board and you can work with partners if you want." He continued then sat down at his desk. "Do you want to be partners?" Sonny and I said at the same time and then laughed "Do you want to be my partner?" Sonny asked "yeah." I replied.

At lunch Sonny and I sat at the same table away from everyone, it's not that we choose to sit there it's just that no one really likes the outcast. As soon as we sat down Britney and her sluts walked up to our table "aw the two love birds are sitting together how romantic." She said Sonny mumbled something under his breath "Excuse me what did you say fat bastard!" She screamed at the top of her lungs Sonny was speechless and in shock "What you goanna go home and cry to mommy?" She asked Sonny stood up and ran out of the room I on the other hand stood up and pushed Britney on the ground "Piss off!" I yelled she got up "Ugh why don't you go run after your lover, SLUT!" She yelled "The only slut her is you! Attention whore!" I yelled running out of the room. All I heard was laughter from the entire lunch room. I went looking for Sonny, I bumped into a guy "Oh sorry." I said looking at him "That's okay, what's your name?" He asked "Amber, and have you seen a boy named Sonny any where?" I asked "I'm Matt Good and yeah I saw him just a minute ago running into the bathroom, why?" He asked "Because Britney and her slut crew insulted him.." I said "Oh, sorry to hear that. Well see you around." Matt said then walked in the direction towards the lunch room. I ran/walked to the boys, I didn't care who saw me go in there I only knew that Sonny needed me and he was in danger. I walked into the boys bathroom "Sonny?" I asked "Are you in here?" I called out "G-go away." He said my heart sank as he said that "I'm not leaving until you come out." I said "J-just go away!" Sonny yelled I felt tears stream down my face. I ran out of the bathroom and out off the school, I ran until I stopped at a tree. I sat down at the tree then pulled my knees to my chest and began to cry.
