Julia's P.O.V.
Mom and dad had went to sleep in their bedroom while I still stood there looking at her as she sat on the swing.
She just stared at me, just stared. Nothing else.
It just struck me to that that woman was Jessica. There was something so diabolical and terrific about her gaze that I started shivering. I felt my pulse beating in my ears. I found out that I too was staring at her and couldn't take my eyes away from her. Just then, in a fraction of a millisecond, she disappeared leaving me drained and scared as hell.
I rushed into the house and went to my room where I found Marlene sleeping. I tried to calm myself down and go to sleep but I just couldn't. Just then, I heard a loud scream. It came from my parents' room.
I rushed to check what had happened.
As I walked towards the door, I saw a few dark red spots of blood dotting the carpet infront of it. I took a deep breath and reached for the door's handle, trying to push away thoughts of what might be on the other side. My hands shivered as I opened the door.
My breath got caught in my throat as I tried not to retch at the sight. I wanted to look away, needed to tear my eyes away but, I just couldn't.
Lying in a pool of blood in the centre of the room were my parents.......they were dead.
I couldn't believe my eyes, I didn't want to anyway.
I never saw something like that, even in my worst nightmares for whenever I did, my brain always woke me up before such a horrific image covered my mind. And now, I had seen something my eyes will never be able to erase.
The adrenalin flew over my veins like a carp through the river, but I couldn't even move a single muscle, not even to scream.

The two deadbodies laid on their backs, not three feet beyond the radius of the room in a pool of blood that was almost dried and gave the room a sickly-sweet butchershop odor.
My dad, in his weather beaten skin was a fine mesh work of red threads. From the depth of his wrinkles, oozed out fresh blood.
My mom, in life had a ready smile and knowing eyes.
In death, she was ghostly pale, her lips already bluish.
The corpses laid still on the ground with sprawled backs and entry wounds.
So many unanswered questions for now, it was a new homicide......obviously by Jessica, an isolated case that I wanted to take revenge for.
