The 10 p.m. news bulletin said, "There was a dead body of a man that had been found in the Sierra area forest. It is believed that the man had been strangled to death however, further postmortem reports may reveal more about the death." The news clip showed a picture of the corpse too and Julia identified it as being Toby's.
Julia's P.O.V.
The tears burst forth like water from a dam, spilling forth my face. I felt the muscles of my chin tremble like a small child. There is static in my head once more, the side effect of this constant fear, constant stress I live with. She had killed Toby, now, what if she kills me? What if she kills my daughter?
I hear my own sounds like a distressed child, raw from the inside. I hear Marlene crying for food but I don't care to even look at her. Jessica had killed Toby was all that echoed in my mind. This feeling took away something out of me, I didn't know I had left to give for I had given away everything. I only had my daughter and parents now. That's the way it is when your life partner, the father of your little daughter dies. It felt like a theft of the spirit, a pain of an injury no other person could have ever felt.

The next morning, Julia goes to the Sierra morge where Toby's corpse was preserved. Julia started suffering from traumatic syndrome after his death.
Julia's P.O.V.
I just couldn't stop crying when I went to the mortuary to receive his corpse and arrange the funeral.
I don't think I will ever forget what he looked like.
His head had leaned to one side, his neck lacking strength to support it. His face was pale and blue.
That was the moment he ceased to be the Toby I had known.......All because of Jessica.
I won't let this happen.......I'll take revenge.
