So in the beginning of the book, Jessica was just a sweet, charming, cute, average little 20 year old for whom her parents and her self-esteem absolutely meant everything.
Since she valued her parents' decisions so much, she agreed to get married to Toby however she couldn't bear anything against her.
Toby was a self loving and charming man. He would've never wanted to harm anyone but. He loved his fiancé Julia way too much so he had to. But it was Julia's idea to murder Jessica, so at the end of the day, JULIA IS THE CRIMINAL.
After Jessica's murder, Julia and Toby did manage to get married to each other but, Jessica's soul in the form of a curse ruined their life. She wanted revenge for her murder.
One by one, Jessica murdered everyone.........
Starting from Toby,
She even murdered their poor little daughter Marlene.
Well now, the whole family is in a better place though.
And they're all TOGETHER!
At the end of the day, Julia got punished severely for her idea of killing Jessica and Jessica had successfully taken her revenge.
