Chapter 7
Angel's PoV
I wake up blushing. I was dreaming about Shadow. She's so nice, and really understands. I don't want to tell her yet, I don't know what she'd think.
I open my wings and fly out of the window, I need some fresh air. Nobody else is up yet, so I have some time. I take a couple minutes to calm down and let the blush disappear, then fly back in my room.
"Didn't know you were up." Crystal smiles. "Ready for class?"
I smile. I'll see Shadow later. "Yeah, let's go."

Blaze's PoV
Time for mind reading, hope I don't end up in someone's head again. The teacher's drinking coconut milk again, (hey, I want to! it's funny!) and I sigh.
"Who am I reading the mind of this time?" I ask.
"A man who was looking for a camp of some sort. He likes to wear dark sunglasses wherever he goes." He points at a seven-foot tall man fiddling with something that looks suspiciously like a sheathed knife. (I like making references! And I won't stop!)
I don't concentrate as much, but still enough to look in his head. I see pictures of a computer program, entering it, and messing with the simulation. Attacking people, and changing the world. I stand up again, seeing white eyes. The man looks at me, and disappears.
"I swear, he's planning to take over the world..." I rub my head.
One person who most would consider crazy is bad enough, but two I read the minds of? That isn't helping anything.
"Maybe you should take a break. You don't look too good." Frost is looking at me, worried.
I shake my head. "I'm not missing dream watching two days in a row. I'll be fine."

"I assume many have learned mind reading?" The lady is sitting cross-legged on her desk with her eyes closed. "Feel what they would feel if they were awake, but open your mind. Begin."
"I hope I have someone normal." I whisper to Shadow.
My person is dreaming of something strange. She struggles out of the grasp of something that has purple dragon wings, thinking it wants to hurt her. (Enderlox, references forever!) It catches her right before she hits the ground, and she realizes it's on her side.
Then I'm jolted out by Shadow yelling, "Time for our next class!"

Flying was better this time, Shock was moved to another time for my sake. Afterwards, boring classes are the same. I practice flying on my way back to my room, and go into my soundproof room.

"So that's what your room is for!" Shadow is standing in the doorway, and one of her hands is a cat paw with a claw out.
I bite my tongue. "I don't like people hearing me sing."
Shadow blinks. "Why? You're really good at it!'
"I don't do too well with other people. If they knew how good at singing I am, they'd try to make me famous or something." I look down.
"We aren't going to do that here. Shut down for the night, we can talk more tomorrow, no class." Shadow smiles.
I nod. "Night, Shadow."
