Sunday I decided to go visit Arcana again. Somehow after the events of yesterday, I really desired to go to my own home. The huge nostalgia and just the whole world there would make me feel warm and happy.
"I'm gonna be out the whole day." I tell Macy.
"What you actually have friends?"
"No." I roll my eyes. "I'm going by myself." I say. She laughs. Whatever. I head to the small forest we have in our backyard and I take off my necklace. I smile and press the opal in the center. It clicks and next thing I know, I was at the double doors. I place the necklace by the box and the doors open. I walk in.

I was shocked because I wasn't at that room inside the castle but actually in the middle of the street of the nearest village. People were walking past me and it was noisy. I looked around in awe. There were shops and a huge neighborhood.
"Welcome to central village, the melting pot of Arcana." Someone says. I look and a older guy with white wings flys ahead of me. He bows and flys away past a big building. So based on what I heard, each village and floating island is specific to the deity, angel, or zodiac. That means this village is the central place where anyone can come. Its a melting pot of different gods. I was excited. I walked around. I noticed after a few minutes that everyone who passed me were bowing at me. My face turns red. I start running. The huge castle appears around the corner. It was humongous casting a huge shadow on the village. I wanted to see my parents.
"Princess Bella!" I hear. "PRINCESS BELLA." I look behind me. A group of kids latched on my jeans. I point a finger at myself.
"Me?" I say.
"Now kids. Get of her. I'm so sorry." A lady says prying the kids off. "They seem excited that the princess is back." She looks at the kids. "Now bow. You know from school how important she is." The kids bow. "I'm so sorry." she tells me and they walk past me. I just stood there. Me an important person. Princess? I laugh. Me a princess...

I find the big gates. They open once the guard sees me and I walk inside. The big golden doors open and I'm at the room I was last time. I look behind me and the doors disappeared. I don't get this concept of a no door room.
"Its because the interior of the castle is in a different dimension. Well, except the rooms that look out towards Arcana." I hear. I turn around.
"Mom!" I say hugging her. Somehow since everything happened it really feels like I was this way for a long time. She hugs me back.
"You came so soon."
"It still feels weird that the villagers are that way to me. A week ago I was just some normal nobody." I say looking at her. She laughs.
"Its a shock. I know." I laugh. She puts her hand on my cheek. "Look you changed. You look more like me then before."
"Oh yeah my curly hair has golden strands and I sometimes glow." I say.
My mother shakes her head. "Over on earth you look like that. Here you change into your true self. Look In the mirror." My mother raises her hands and a huge mirror appears. I look at my self. I almost fell backwards. My face was fair and blemish free and my hair was shiny. I looked more like my mom.
"Woah..." I say. A huge bell rings the whole room.
"Ah.. they're here." My mom says. She looks at me. "Follow me. You should come see this." I do. We walk towards a wall. It opens like before and we enter an outdoor garden. Three middle school boys were sitting on benches sipping on orange juice. The see us and get up. They bow.
"Bella, this is Hadley, Farrell and Polar." My mother says. I look at them. They look like 12 year old triplets.
"Like the trade winds?" I say. They look up at me and smile.
"Always flowing with the wind princess." They giggle.
"I asked them to meet with me since the changing of the seasons is going to happen soon." My mother tells me.
"We got it all covered your majesty. You might want to go check on Inverna. She seems to be sick."
My mothers eyes widen. "That is not good. Is she okay?"
They shrug. "We went to go visit to ask her when she will change the season and she was sick."
"I'll go see her."
They bow and the poof they disappeared.
"Who is Inverna?" I ask.
"She's the winter diety who rules over winter island." My mother points at a White floating Island.
"Ohhhh.." I say.
"She controls winter. Her family resides there as well." I nod. My mother looks at me. "Sunday.. well basically everyday is busy for me and your father. Were in charge of Earth and things have to go perfectly well." She puts her hands on my shoulders. "We do so much to make Earth livable for humans and animals but the sins and the darkness is whats corrupting the world. We do so much for them but it turned them into selfish greedy people. Not just their emotions but in our line of work too. The amount of pollution and these new atom bombs is unacceptable."
"I understand." I say. I knew how bad it was.
"That's why you have the power to eradicate it and start anew. Everyone in Arcana is willing to start anew."
I look away. "Its so much pressure. Its like I'm going to kill 8 billion people and so many animals."
"Remember you have forever to decide." My mother smiles. That's true. I'm immortal right?
"Sorry, just this whole thing is new to me. I'm kind of accepting and kind of feel weird about this ahaha." I say.
"You will get used to it. Anyways, Your father on another island for business. I'm going to visit him on winter island so we can figure out Inverna's sickness and he can decide the timing of winter." She says. "You can go anywhere." She pauses. "Wait, theres someone I'd like you to meet. Lets hope she is in town." She reaches out her hand and i grab it. I blink and we are in the middle of central village again. People were shocked for a second and then went about their business after bowing at us. I guess its normal to see my mom out in the public. We go towards a wind chime shop around the corner and walk inside. There were so many glass chimes hanging everywhere. A girl with long blue hair, a tshirt and a blue skirt was sitting near a counter resting her head on the table reading a book. She looks at us and bolts up.
"Welcome. Your Majesty." The girl says. She looks at me. "Princess Bella."
"Is your mother home?" My mom says. She nods, her head bobbing really fast. She looked around my age. She runs to the back of the store room. I could hear her talk to someone.
"Your friends here. A very important one..." There was a crash. My mom chuckled. The girl came back followed by a lady, presumably her mother. My mom gave the girl's mother a hug.
"Its been a while Cathleen." The lady says. First names? Friends?
"Martha! Its good to see you!" My mother says.
"What brings you here? Want a drink?" The lady says. Her daughter, the girl stares at me. I look down.
"I'd love some water thank you. And.." My mother looks at me. "Since my daughter is back, I think its finally time for introductions." My mom laughs. The lady nods. She starts laughing too. Both me and the girl look at them in confusion. The girl goes to the back of the room to get water.
"Come closer." Martha says at me. I look at my mom. She ushers me forward. "She looks just like you. Aw, shes grown up. It makes me feel old."
My mother laughs. "Aren't we all old."
"True." I look at them in confusion.
"Martha here is my best best best friend. How long. 3 billion years?" The lady nods. This whole immortal thing is still weird to me but i was shocked how a friendship can exist for that long. See, I never had a friend so its just new to me.
"Yeppers." Martha says. The girl comes back and gives me and my mom water. I take it. Water in Arcana is the same as Earth.
"Wendy. This is Bella. Bella, this is my daughter, Wendy." Martha says. I look at the girl. She bows. I blush.
"Oh you don't have to please.." I say.
"Wendy. You don't have to. She was raised with the humans. This is still new to her." My mother says. Wendy blushes. My mom looks at me.
"You and Wendy were born in the same 24 hours. Before I sent you to earth. She was your first friend. You guys played for a few hours before your departure." My mother says to me. She comes in closer. "I knew life down there is hard but I wanted to show you that yes, you had a friend all this time." My eyes grow wide. Wendy herself looked shocked.
"Wait shes the other baby I played with?" She tells her mother. Martha nods.
"I was waiting for Bella to return so you two could reacquaint yourselves." Wendy looks at me. I look at her. This is totally... not awkward. But, it felt so nice that I did have a friend.
"Wendy and her mother is apart of the Wind deity clan. They live up on windy island. Wendy's father, Martha's Husband, was the past head wind deity but now Wendy has taken up that position." My mother tells me.
"Well not yet. She still feels uneasy about the whole taking care of the world concept." Martha says. Wendy blushes.
"Do your best." I say to her. I don't know but i feel like she will be a good friend. If our mothers are friends for a long time maybe we will...
She smiles at me. "Thanks."
"You saw her cousins today." My mother says. My eyes widen.
"Hadley, Farrell and Polar?" I say.
"Ah, they finally visited you. Change of the seasons huh? Those kids.." Martha says.
"Yes." My mother says. She looks at me and Wendy. "Martha and I have some stuff to talk about. You two should go hang out. Its been forever."
"Forever? 16 years? You're too funny Cathleen." Martha says laughing. My mother laughs. They walk to the back of the store.
Wendy and I stare at each other. This was awkward. "I never had a friend before?" I confess. Woah.
She looks at me more confidently and holds my hand. "Me neither. I'm shy. That's why." I smile,
"Then lets be friends. Call me Bella. Its still weird that people call me Princess or whatever." I say.
"I understand... Bella. Those humans are bad right?" Wendy says. I nod. "To be honest. I wanted to meet you again. I thought that baby I played with was someone in Arcana and my mom didn't tell me. But then she started acting excited when everyone knew that you came back and thats when I had suspicion that it was you. I mean, we were born on the same day. Were twins. Kind of."
I was shocked. "This is weird. But you made me happy saying that. That someone was thinking of me." I look around. "That everyone is thinking of me. Maybe its because I lived on earth my whole life that this niceness is just rare."
Wendy grabs my hands and we go to some benches past the glass chimes. We sit.
"I always wondered how it is living with those humans. How is ur human family?" Wendy asks. I sigh.
"My family down there isn't my family... mom just dropped me in a box on their front door." I start and look at my hands. I tell her about My "dad" who left because divorce and my "mom" who really deeply doesn't care about me. I told her about Macy and how she hates me and the bullies at school. I tell her about moving and Jase Galler and the idea of hierarchy at school. I tell her about school and competition. I talk about how looks matter, jealousy, and ego. Wendy's face was full of horror when I was done. I told her about the pool incident yesterday as well.
"But you sound so nice." She says.
"Well I'm guessing because that phony Jase was talking to me. God I hate that guy. He probably set it up that way so that Amber can throw some crap at me."
"Dang." Wendy says. "The eternal god being treated this way. Those humans are beasts." I blush.
"Everyone here so far is so nice. Its so new to me. Tell me what you do?" I ask Wendy. She smiles and raises her hand. A mini tornado appears on the palm of her hand.
"I just control wind. My mom says that shes done teaching me the responsibilities of managing wind on earth but I don't think I'm ready..."
"I believe in you." I say.
"Thank you and anyways, your job is harder. I'd eradicate them but just pressing that button is hard. You okay?" Wendy says.
"I don't think I have the mentality to make that decision right now." I say laughing. "I just need to get used to this whole thing first."
"True that."
"You guys are on wind island but what is this shop?" I ask.
"Oh yeah my moms shop is here. I'm just here for a while. My mom thinks its good that I get out of my shy phase." She says. Both of our moms came and saw us.
"I should get going." My mother says. "Inverna is sick."
"Oh I heard. You should hurry." Martha says. My mom looks at me.
"You should go to ur earth home as well. Time on earth goes faster than time in Arcana." My mom says. My heart sinks.
"Right." I follow my mom out and we wave goodbye.
"Hang with me when you come back Bella." Wendy says. Both our moms smile at us.
"Ill do that Wendy." I say.
"Tell me more stories too." She says. I nod. My mom grabs my hand and we appear in that big room in the castle again.
"Is there a way i can go back on my own will. I remember last time i just blinked." I ask.
"Of course. Just press that button again and it'll take you to the exact place you first pressed the button to get here." My mom says. Well that was an easy thing to do. I was worried. "Well you should go. Come visit us anytime." My mom hugs me. It felt so warm. Its really feels like home in Arcana. I press the opal on my sword necklace and I was back in the forest in my backyard.
