Her Fate

"Woah." Wendy says. I look at my hand. Amber grabbed it so much, I got a bruise.
"That girl was crazy. I didn't know how I could be calm. Ever since I came back things have been different and weird." I say to Wendy.
There was no school today because of the window incident so I decided to go to Arcana and go visit Wendy. We grabbed lunch. Arcanan food is the best. Its the same as on earth but it just feels fresher. I told her about everyone and everything in my school.
"All in all. Your life down there has so much drama. I couldn't deal with that. Plus I would have my own worries. How are you so calm when you know you're the one that broke those windows. Based on those human's wouldn't it be scary to be caught." Wendy says.
I laugh. "But thats the thing.. I cant. Who will believe a girl who just sat in her seat and a window broke without her moving a muscle. I mean I have that popular Jase Galler staring at me the whole dang time." I roll my eyes.
"I'm still confused why he was staring at you?"
"Me too. Its weird. And he have me a birthday present. And he said i was interesting. These few days have been weird." I say.
"I can see. I really wanna go down there with you. It sounds fun to just observe with popcorn and a drink." Wendy giggles. I laugh.
"Then you have to do this thing called tests and homework."
"Yikes." Wendy says. We both laugh. "So did you keep what he gave you or throw it away?"
I show her the horseshoe. I felt bad after what he said after that i just didn't feel like throwing it away. She takes it and looked closely.
"What is this?"
"A horse shoe. Its for good luck."
"But its small and its just a bent piece of metal."
I shrug. "I don't know. Its just what people think." Wendy nods in interest.
She grabs my hands. "One day you should come for a longer time so I can take you to Wind island and maybe some other islands."
"I want to. I love Arcana so far." I say. "But school and all down there. Maybe on break. I don't really care of my family down there sees that I'm gone for days. Maybe they will go on a trip and ill opt out and come here."
"That would be great." She looks at the clock. "You think Amber is going to be on your tail?"
I laugh. "I think so. She almost broke my arm." I wasn't worried though. If I stay quiet and away from Jase then all the Amber stuff will die down.
"Wild. Humans are wild I tell ya." Wendy says. I get up and say bye since it was time for me to leave.
