"You say WHAT?" Wendy said that day I went to visit Arcana.
"I said that i think something is worth liking on earth. Like swimming... although Amber is on my team. And I find Jase very interesting."
"Woah." Wendy had no words.
"My fate revolves around one tough decision." I said sighing. My history of avoiding Jase Galler went into oblivion. Now I don't run away because I'm curious. I'm curious if there are people out there who are pure. I'm curious because some guy who seems stuck up, is not. Day after day. The insults come from everywhere except Jase Galler. I realized he didn't want any part of the Amber squad plan to hate me. Even if his friends are part of that group. We stared at each other in the hallways and I come to realize that Jase wasn't just part of a defined group: the popular. But he had his own branch just for and about himself. So I stared and he stared back. For months this happens. No one makes a move. If one of us did it'd be the head of all gossip and the proof of Ambers lie that I caused her and Jase to break up.
I wanted to know why he is friends with people who are snotty? Why? Whats hard about life to him? How stressful does he get?
"You talk about him a lot." Said Wendy one day. I look at her in surprise and myself as well. Its true.
"What do you- what about it?" I ask.
"I don't know. Aren't you guys friends by now?"My thought process was grand like a chart. Something fitting for a god who's testing the worth of the human race. But thats all it is right? This cant go on for long and soon things change.
