*Lina's POV*

I shuffled into the Leaky Cauldron and sat at the nearest table I saw. I began wondering if the letter was actually just a joke, from a friend or something, although it seemed incredibly legit. I tore it out of my pocket, and opened it again. I read it over and over again, trying to see what I was missing. I left my coat on the chair so hopefully someone wouldn't take my seat this time, and ordered a coffee. I sat back down and straightened out the letter, and just stared at it. I sipped at my coffee, quite annoyed because of this letter.

"Whatcha got there?"

I turned quickly, alarmed at the sudden voice. I looked up at a brown haired boy. "Uh. I'm uh. I'm not quite sure..." I trailed off. "Who are you?"

"Sorry, I'm Neville. Neville Longbottom." He said holding out his hand. I smile, disguising my laugh.

"I'm Lina." I said and offered for him to sit. He looked at the letter.

"Ah, so you're coming to Hogwarts?" He said. I looked at him with confusion. "Oh. You were raised by muggles I'm assuming. Ah, um..." He started thinking hard. "Well, we'd better go get your school supplies then, it'll be a lot easier to understand if I don't explain it with words." He said, offering a small smile.

I attempted to return it but I'm sure it was full of confusion and terror. He chuckled, "Follow me." I put on my jacket and put the letter into my jacket pocket. He leaded me down to a room of bricks. "So, Lina. What grade are you in? Are you going to be a first year?"

I looked at him with utter confusion, "Erm, I'm not sure. I'm fifteen."

"Ah.. Right. Well, I'm not too terribly sure whats going to happen the- wait, if you're practically a muggle, why are you here?" He said genuinely confused.

"I dunno, I like this pub." I said honestly.

He giggled, "Right...right. Alright." He tapped around a bricks and they started moving. "Follow me, then." He led me into a whole new place. "Welcome to Diagon Alley."

I looked around curiously. "What in the bloody hell?" I said quietly.

All afternoon, Neville explained to me what Hogwarts is, what I am, what he is, he explained literally everything. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't overwhelmed. Neville's stopped to talk to a couple of people along the way. He got the most excited seeing "Potter." I'm assuming that isn't his first name, but I'm not sure. He's taken me here and there showing me to shops where'd I'd need to get stuff for school. Though I haven't any money with me at the moment, he's told me to meet him at the Leaky Cauldron tomorrow with money. He said he'd ask his friends to come, so I'd feel more welcome. I was in no position to say no to friends. It was getting later, so I was on my way home. As I was walking to the door of the Leaky Cauldron, I saw a very familiar pair of blue eyes follow me to the door, but I refused to turn around and meet their gaze.
