Kitty's POV

When I wake up and it's still dark, I look to the glowing numbers of the alarm clock, they read 2:45 am. I feel a surge of anxious energy, I don't know where to go or what to do, and I don't want to wake up Ronnie. I find a little notepad and a pen and scribble a note for Ronnie, that I'm going for a walk, and that I'll get my phone off of the bus, then I write my number down.

I sneak onto the bus, quiet so as not to wake Jacky, who I hear snoring from a bunk. Tiptoeing past, I find my things in the corner of Ronnie's room, and dig out my phone. It's got half battery. I hop out of the bus and start walking, down the streets front of the hotel, and turn at the first cross street I come to. Out here, in the soft orange glow of the street lamps I feel so hollow, and empty, I'm jut me, lonely in this huge place, even though I know I've got Ronnie waiting for me back at the hotel.

After walking for a good hour, I get a call, I answer it, "Hello?"

"Kitty! Are you ok?"

"Yeah Ronnie, I'm fine, I just needed some fresh air and I didn't want to wake you up," I sigh. "Ok, but you're alright? Do you want me to come find you?"

"It's fine, you don't have to, sleep,"

"I can't now, where are you?"

I tell Ronnie the cross street, and he says he'll be leaving for here in a minute. I sit on the curb and wait.

Ronnie's POV

I pull on a hoodie and start to jog down the street, a GPS pulled up on my phone telling me where I was going. I didn't stop till I see her, about a hundred feet down on the curb. She's so small, and pretty, wearing what she had slept in. There was a time in my life not all that long ago, when I would have seen a girl like her, and done nothing but try to get her high or drunk and sleep with her.

Kitty looks up, spotting me, she stands and begins walking to me. I smile, she's so pretty, small, but all leg, and her hair shimmers in the dim lighting. Her eyes sparkle, looking like emeralds. When she gets close, I open my arms, she steps into me, and I wrap her in a hug. I can feel her shivering, and realize that it's cooled off a lot since earlier. I pull away from her an unzip my hoodie, handing it to her. "Here honey, it's cold," I say. "Ronnie you don't have on a shirt, keep the jacket," she sounds worried, I slipped the jacket over her shoulders, Kitty was about to protest, looking so concerned, and I didn't even try to stop myself. The urge to kiss her came over me, and I followed it. My lips crashing into hers, I was shocked when she didn't pull away, and she was kissing back, timidly. I trace her bottom lip with the tip of my tongue, she gasps, and I move in. Our tongues begin a dance, all touch and sensation. Kitty lets out a small moan, such a delicate sound... I let out a growl, low in my throat, and Kitty moans again, then pulls away, I let her. Burying her face in my bare chest, Kitty seems so small, and easily frightened, I can't help but worry if I've scared her, "Look I'm sorry, I know I shouldn't have," I whisper, "Don't apologize." Kitty stands on her toes, and pecks me on the lips, then she grabs my hand and starts walking.

Kitty's POV

My lips are still swollen from Ronnie's kiss as we walk back through the door of the hotel room. It was so..... Different. Good. I gasp, as Ronnie picks me up bridal style. "Ronnie!" I exclaim. "Relax, you've walked enough today, besides I like carrying you," Ronnie says. I sigh, and press myself against him. Ronnie carries me to the bed, and lays me down gently, then flops down on the other side bed, it's almost four o'clock, and I'm exhausted now. "Honey, you've got to sleep for another hour in here, then I'll carry you out to the bus and you can sleep there," Ronnie says, then he pulls up covers around him and myself, and kisses me lightly. We fall asleep.
