Kitty's POV

The guys put on a movie, and then Ronnie got me something to eat. Now we're all relaxing, watching the nightmare before Christmas. It's my favorite.

Ronnie is leaning his back against the wall against the couch, his knees pulled up some, and I'm sitting in his lap, his shoulder acting as my pillow. I feel so small compared to him.... Absently I trace the tattoos on his arms.

Ronnie's POV

We're almost to the venue, and I'm worried about Kitty, what should I do with her while the concert is going on. I try to remember what bands are in town. Inspiration hits, I whip out my phone and start furiously texting. "Hey Kitty?" I ask. "Mmm?"

"I was wondering,"

"Bout what?"

"How do you feel about spending some time with Jayy Von Monroe while I'm doing this show?"

Kitty turns and stares at me, a hopeful expression on her face. I chuckle.

Jayy said he would keep her company, and threatened to take her shopping.

Jayy's POV

I was shocked when Ronnie Radke texted me, and then I was astounded when he asked me for a favor. Watch over a girl for him? It wasn't like him to take girls on tour with him, I wonder what made her special. Wanting to find out, I agreed, warning him I would probably make her go shopping with me.

But the next text really got my attention.

Ronnie:

Be careful with her, and be nice. If you do take her shopping promise to let her pay you back or she'll get upset. Ignore the scars.

It's five when I get to Ronnie's bus, the guys are all waiting outside, leaning on the bus. Ronnie is farthest from me as I walk towards them, I can tell he's not wearing a shirt, but beyond the bright colors of his tattoos, I see a bright blue patch. As I get close, I see a small girl, I'm guessing she's 20 or so. She's incredibly lovely, with dark blue hair, and perfect small features, but she looks sick, too thin. Ronald has his arms draped over the girls shoulders, holding her to his chest. Just one look and I knew he was head over heels for her.

"Hey fuckers!" I call. They all look to me, laughing. "Okay! Kitty wins!" I watch confused, as Ron and Jacky pull out their wallets. "What's all that about?" I ask. Ronnie looks up, "She bet with the guys on what you would say," he answers.

Kitty gets her money, then hands it to Ronnie. "Why?" He asks. "You bought me breakfast," Kitty's voice is soft and lilting, I wonder if she can sing. "Jayy, Kitty. Kitty, Jayy," Ronnie introduces us, I step forward intending to offer my hand, but Ronnie's hand on my shoulder stops me. "Can we talk for a sec?" He asks, voice low. I nod, anxious. We step to the front of the bus.

"What the hell is going on?" I ask perplexed. "Look, this is just a warning, be careful what you say around her, don't talk about her, don't ask about her past, if she wants to tell you she will. Keep an eye on her, if she seems like she's starting to freak out, get her away from people, and anything she could use to hurt herself," Ronnie says. It's not threatening though, jut desperate. I nod, eyes wide, "I'll keep her safe for you," I say

Kitty's POV

I watch as Ronnie comes back. He's followed by Jayy, both are lacking shirts, but Jayy wears leather pants, and is slender, while Ronnie wears black skinnies and is broad, and muscular. I'm nervous about being away from Ronnie, but I would never tell him that.

Jay stands a few feet away from me, as we wave good bye to the guys. As soon as we see them go into the venue, I look up at Jayy. "Ok! So, shopping now, or shopping later?" He squeals. I already love him! "Lets do later, half an hour before the concert ends, so I have an excuse to wait till the guys have all showered before coming back," I say. Jayy smiles and nods, then turns and leaps onto the bus. I follow a little slower, and sit next to him on the couch, "So, you wanna watch? Or do you want to talk?" Jayy seems so hyper. "I guess I'd like to talk," I say, slightly intimidated by his energy.

Jayy's POV

She seems scared, a bit timid, am I scaring her? I try to cool the hype a bit. "So how'd you start touring with FIR?" I ask. "Well... Ronnie saved me three days ago. I've been with him since," she says timidly. "Saved you?" I don't understand. "Well at the concert he saw my boyfriend hit me, and then start to beat me. He jumped off of the stage and made it through the crowd, knocked him unconscious, and then had security take care if him. Then Ronnie picked me up, he took me on stage to explain, then to the bus. When he took me home, I told him about how it was my dad who made go out with Jackson. Ronnie told me to go on tour with him, helped me pack my stuff... And here I am," Kitty says it all without emotion, maybe that's just how she makes it easier to talk about. Not wanting to push her on it, I don't ask her anymore. "Sooo...? Do you like BOTDF?" I ask, really kind of excited, especially when I see Kitty's eyes light up. She nods vigorously. It's makes me happy that she's a fan. "Cool! Have you been to a concert?" Kitty shakes her head, I smile broadly, "Well, we'll have to fix that, maybe warped tour?" Kitty's eyes light up.

We spend another hour talking, kitty opens up slowly, and starts talking about her family before her mom died, but never after. She talks about music and how it saved her. I can tell that she's leaving out a lot of details, an hiding the hell she's been dragged through but I don't push her.

A little more time passes, then I call a cab to take us to the mall.

I take Kitty's hand and pull her through people, till we reach hot topic.

Kitty grudgingly tries on the clothes I give her. I want to but her all of it but she limited me to five outfits. It takes a while, because she spends so much time trying to cover her cars. I only catch glimpses of them from under the hoodie she wears. I do my best to compliment her and make her laugh and for a while she has fun, but as soon as we head to the register, she get agitated. "Kitty, you can pay me back, at warped tour, k?!" I say. She nods.

I'm dragging kitty to the food court, when I get swarmed by fans. I sign and laugh and hug them all, but I keep an eye on kitty, who's leaning in to a wall behind us, her hair hangs covering her face. I glance back at her again, and then I see it, the pure terror in her eyes. I sweep away from my fans, and grab her in a hug, she flinches, then clings to my shirt. I hold her like that, looking around for somewhere to take her. I pick her up, like a parent might pick up a toddler, so that her legs wrap around me waist, and she sits on my hip. She weighs nothing.

I run to the bathroom, and slip inside, hoisting Kitty up onto the sink. She stares at nothing, her eyes full of fear. "Kitty? Honey are you ok?" I ask. Ronnie had warned me if she freaked out to get her away from people, I should have realized crowds or loud people scared her. Poor thing.

Kitty is shaking, in a really pitiful way, and a tear escapes the comer of her eye. "Sweetheart?" I ask her, she doesn't look at me. "You know, I was terrified of crowds when I was a kid, I was scared I I'd get stepped on or raped," I had her attention finally. "I don't know when I stopped being afraid, it just faded. I just started being around people and it taught me how to not be scared," I say, gently wiping away her tears. I turn around, and hold my arms behind me, she climbs onto my back. We go back out into the mall. "Can we go to Spencer's?" Kitty whispers shakily into my ear. I laugh and head for the store. Kitty points to where she wants to go.
