Allie

~~~
I shouldn't be here but I couldn't stay away.
"Why did you come here Allie?" a soft voice asks. I don't have to turn around to know it's Alice standing behind me.
"I was sleeping but I had a nightmare about my parents divorcing and drinking themselves to death. I had to come and make sure that they'll be alright," I murmur.
A mile away my funeral party is taking place.
A black hearse drives up and my parents exit.
Mom and Dad are both wearing matching grim reaper costumes. I smile upon seeing my wishes granted.
My friends, relatives, teachers, Chief Swan, Reyna, the Cullen's, Carlisle, and other people from my human life all arrive dressed as undead creatures as I asked. Many of them cry and many try not to.
My casket is open and filled with personal items of mine, every once in awhile someone will come up and place something in or take something out. Next to the open casket is an enlarged photo of me smiling.
All the foods I requested are set out on tables and my parents even have a chocolate fountain out.
Music of mine is playing along with some of my friends favorites. I almost feel bad I asked for my music to be played because all my favorite songs are sad as hell.
"Mr and Mrs Candor I am so sorry for your loss," Carlisle murmurs to my parents.
"Thank you Dr Cullen and thank you so much for everything you did for her," my mom says weakly. "You really helped her."
"I am glad I got the honor of meeting such a sweet soul," Carlisle returns and my mom nods while tears run down her face. My dad holds her tight and nods to Carlisle.
My father who I never once saw cry now has tears running down his face.
As I watch I myself begin to sob. Cold arms wrap around me and Alice coos softly in my ear.
More and more people speak with my parents and tell stories about me.
"Everyday Allie would carry snacks in her backpack and she would always give them all away to her friends and even strangers who were hungry."
"Allie never hesitated to help a friend in need even if she herself was in need of help."
"Allie was like a candle, she burned herself out to give others light."
As my friends and teacher speak they smile fondly between tears.
A half hour passes before Carlisle stands at a makeshift podium to for his eulogy.
"Allison Candor was by far the brightest and most unique person I ever had the pleasure of meeting. I saw her once a week for an hour during our meetings and in that short time I got to know her and began to cherish her personality. I had the amazing and difficult job of being her therapist. It was amazing because I had the honor of having someone who was so empathetic, selfless, and creative confide in and trust me. It was truly difficult because I was a witness to all her pain and she had a lot of pain. Allie felt so much for everyone and everything around her, she felt too much. I mean she empathetically set up her own funeral so that people wouldn't be too sad. But all this emotion was sending her into a spiral and sucking away her light. It was painful to watch and even harder to help. Allie always said that should would die young, she was convinced all the feelings would consume her. She said it would be best if she died young so she wouldn't have to endure all the stress life has to offer. This moment is bittersweet because we all know she is no longer suffering but now we are because we have lost arguably one of the sweetest girls in the world. Allison Candor you will be sorely missed and mourned."
