have you finished the song you wrote for me?
sing me a lullaby, soothe me till dawn
the moonlight shall illuminate the sheets
where your lover lies like a little fawn

the rainfall is too strong for me to hear
the saccharine sound of your quiet voice
the air as frigid as the fearful year
when there was no warmth to keep me at poise

i'm still holding on till the melody
the part that you always held back from me
this shall wake me up from this malady
and give me the lack of life i can't keep

your presence: my last reason of living
your music shall heal my short-breath sleeping
