We got on the train, and felt the wind pressed against our bodies. Our hearts beated. Time seemed to fly.
It had been so long since we had a reason to use the trains. They never stopped, but nobody hardly ever used them. They were addicting, and I felt comfortable riding them again.
I could see Erudite's faction comming up fast. We all moved silently to the edge of the train car. "You guys ready?" I asked.
"Yeah," Uriah sighed.
Then he jumped. Four and Tris went next, and I followed quickly. Being last to jump I was about ten feet from everyone else. I hurried over and tripped over my feet half way there- I fell to my knees. I winced quietly, but not quietly enough.
"Carefull, Christina," Four laughed.
"Thanks," I said monotanously and glared.
Uriah half smiled and pulled me up. "Don't worry. We aren't like Eric was. We don't care if our Dauntless members are clumsy or not."
"Wait. I'm an exception okay. I don't like people who fall all the time," Four joked.
"As expected," Tris muttered.
"So," I said, "Where does your brother live?"
"Why would I know?" Tris asked.
"Building East 2, floor 5, room 509," Four stated.
Tris glanced at him in confusion. "How do you know?"
"Four and I found out a while back, after things with getting our faction running again were sorted out. The counsil has been considering bugging his room. He's technically off of charges, but they still weren't too happy abou tit all," Uriah said.
"Okay, then lets go quickly. Anyone could get on the trains any time and track us down. It isn't easy to hear well either," I suggested.
"Agreed," Uriah said.
