"You even killed one of your friends didn't you Tris?" Caleb laughed harshly. "Will wasn't it? Oh, and two if you count Al."

I gasped and my breathing started to break. "How... How dare you say that. Tris didn't mean to. It wasn't her fault," I said.

"How did you know about them both?" Tris asked.

"I see quite a lot. OR saw. Jeanine was quite the person to suck up to," Caleb stated. Then he walked up to me. "You. Christina. You SAY it wasn't Tris's fault... but yet, video footage shows clear avoidance of her for weeks after his death. Why would that be?" he snaled.

"Shut up," I cried. I didn't care to show my weakness anymore. I was only human, and I was being torn apart. Yet Caleb... he lost his humanity a long time ago. Did enjoy causing pain?

"Hey, you're alright," Uriah muttered softly in my ear. He lightly kissed the side of my head and pulled me closer into his body. "I love you. Focus on that. You can kill Caleb after we're done with him, but I think you'll find that a hard memory to forget if you go down that path."

"Okay," I replied, "Okay."

Caleb took a step back. "You're all so pitiful, running to me. If you are willing to grant me one thing, I'll help you to my best abilities," he mused.

"What is it?" Four asked.

"You'll see after we get your part of the deal done," Caleb sighed.

"We can't trust him," Uriah said.

"Do we have any other options?" Tris asked in desperation.

"Unfortunately not," Uriah sighed.

Four laughed shortly. "Fine. Christina, we need this. Can you work with him?"

"Sure," I replied. "I'll do anything to recover our faction... they're my family- so I'm willing to die if need be."

"Mmm. This will be interesting," Caleb mused sarcastically. "I can't wait to start."
