HEY GUYS

GUESWHATGUESSWHATGUESSWHAT

THIS IS THE LAST CHAPTER

AHHHHHHHHHHH

Writing this book has been such a roller coaster. There was a time when I thought I would never finish this, my extended Wattpad hiatus, and even that point where I realized all the plot holes in the story ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I guess there's some editing in Kiran's future.

ON THE TOPIC OF A SEQUEL:

As I mentioned earlier, my original plan was to have Kaldur and Kiran break up by the end of this book for the drama, like Rama and Sita did in Kiran's favorite myth. HOWEVER, I decided that was stupid, and thus my only plot for a sequel was trashed. These two are too sweet to ever fight with each other to such a degree, and they're extremely mature, so if they ever did, they probably would not get back together. As Mav likes to point out, they're soulmates, so the probability of them breaking up is quite low.

Long story short: I have no plans for a sequel at this time. I do, however, have another AU called "Eclipso", tied to one of flamebirds 's AUs, where Kiran becomes a Titan and meets Kaldur on his undercover mission, and I am really excited to write that. Kiran is also featured in my "Leadership" Guardian fanfic, which is very slow got. BUT, like with "Text of Fate," I will definitely keep you updated on whether that changes or not. Who knows?

In the meantime, I hope you all enjoy the final chapter of "Young Justice: Solstice"

"Is it sunset yet?" I asked, adjusting my veil again.

"Aya, Rani, this is the only time I see your daughter anxious to stay up late," One of my aunties said.

I blushed as the relatives laughed. There were no secrets from family, and as a near-adult, my fear of the dark was the butt of many family jokes.

Kaldur smiled and brushed my arm. "I imagine if they knew that you were Rama reincarnated, they would not take your fears so lightly." I laughed at the thought. There was one secret I'd convinced my parents to keep: my hero identity. If Aunty Imra knew that I joined the Justice League in protecting the world, all of India would know it by the end of Diwali.

My parents and I were in the process of moving to Delhi, so that I could study at the University where they had each been offered a handsome grant by a Wayne Enterprises to study the supposed Brahma Weapons and other artifacts from their search at Mohenjo Daro, like the now-destroyed inscriptions walls.

Of course, we had to take a break from the process of moving to another county to celebrate Diwali in Ayodhya. Ayodhya was supposed to be the birthplace of Rama himself, and it packed thousands of Hindu every year on Diwali, since the holiday celebrated his return to the throne. This year was no exception. Still, my parents were determined to celebrate with family, and had encouraged me to invite my team members as well, considering them to be as close as family. Especially since this year, Diwali fell on my birthday.

From the window, I saw Artemis, draped in a bright green sari with red rosebuds, instructing my many younger cousins in archery while Mal and Karen watched, feeding each other sweet treats being churned out by the aunties like a factory. Raquel and Zatanna were busy keeping Amistad from bothering the family cows that lounged lazily in the courtyard. They each wore a purple and a black sari respectfully. I don't think anything could have made me happier than helping each of my friends pick out saris and proper Diwali attire.

Cassie sat with Garfield and my older cousins, laughing about some pop culture thing or other. Her mom was doing her best helping my mom in the kitchen as they talked about anything and everything. M'gann was helping them too, almost hidden beneath a gold-and-blue sari. She was doing much better than Helena, and her smile was bigger than I had ever seen it. Conner, in the library with my father and uncles to chat over tea, noticed. He smiled too.
