"Mom...?" I said in a small voice. She turned to me. "I can't ever look at you without being reminded of your father." She said with the exact same look on her face when she was pouring boiling water over my left eye. I reached out but then, in an instant, she was gone.
I saw another "vision". Mom was in the hospital and she sat up from the hospital's bed and held out her hand to me. I stood up and ran while reaching out towards her. But... I seemed the farther I ran, the further she was. Once I stopped a bit to rest, she got further out of reach until.... She was gone...
