Sitting on the sofa, waiting for the beast to cover the distance between us through stairs and get to me, it was overwhelming. I had so many questions, so many complains but I couldn't remember them, as anyone would forget them too. Because the man who was in front of me, walking down the stairs, with stiffness in his posture, he could make anyone forget everything. Even her own name. Seeing him, it made me feel as if someone was clutching my mind so tightly and shaking it more and more, making me feel dizzy and forgetful. Because I was short of words, short of accusations when I saw him just almost fifteen steps away from me.His eyes were focused on the stairs mostly, he nodded twice or thrice to the man that was following him with a file and a laptop in his hand. But when he got to the hall, his eyes still were stuck to the floor, a person could think that he was fond of counting his steps. He took his steps more and more, which made him closer to me, increasing the rate of my heartbeat with each step. His complex aura haunted me already even though I did not even see his face properly. Few seconds later, he was in front of me, towering over me. I noticed a little sensation of pain in my neck as I was turned to see him walking down the stairs and as he continued to walk down in that roundly stairs, I was moving my neck accordingly. And now that he was in front of me, I looked up at him and he actually looked up from the floor and stared at me.
His dark brown eyes were not scary as I expected, but they were stern, they had a barrier and a force that repelled me and made me shiver. He had slightly tanned skin, his blonde brunette hair was the thing that seemed sort of familiar to me, I don't know why. The thick texture of it, the wide quiff, a strand that was carelessly hanging towards his nose bridge. It all seemed sort of familiar. His sharp jaw was clenched and his pale pink lips were sealed; were pursed into a thin line.
His tall frame, preened in high neck black shirt with black trench coat and black pants and boots reminded me of the men that were supposed to be your ruin. Not my words, my mother's. Did he expect me to say something? Because he looked down at me as if he knew I had things to say or ask. Only if he knew that his aura, thick and deep actually threw me in a trance where I could not gather words to compile a question.
A man, in all black who had been following that beast, came to him, stood behind him and slowly whispered something into his ear, the beast's head tilted slightly to his side and then he nodded. His left hand lifted up, he snapped his fingers, after that the man who was following him just went to somewhere. Away from us.
Though he looked like the boss, I was not sure if he was the person who wanted me kidnapped, I asked, ignoring if my throat was dry or not. Or my voice was broken or not. I just asked, my voice seemed curt and demanding, I had right to sound like that, "Are you the one who ordered my kidnapping?" He nodded.
He did not have any answer, he just nodded. Just like that.
You kidnapped a girl and all you could do was nod! That took ignorance to entire another level.
"Why?" That time, my voice was low, as I could definitely see how quickly a frown emerged on his forehead when I questioned with a loud and curt tone. It scared me, I licked my bottom lip and stopped staring up at him, he was tall, and it hurt my neck looking up at him continuously as I was sat on the sofa.
I looked away, down, to my right, to my left, but not towards his eyes. But as my eyes were on the floor, I noticed his feet, they took a step back, they were turning away from me. I immediately looked up at him, and that time with a frown of my own, with anger of my own in my eyes, he turned away and I grabbed his palm, with that I stood up and with a light force pulled him to me. "Don't go! Answer me first!" I yelled. Like...really.
I earned the reaction very quick as he turned to me, twisted my hand with which I was holding his palm, then stuck it to my back and pulled me towards him. "Silence!" His voice was barely a whisper, but it made me hold my breath as the way he said a simple word, all I could think of the consequences which I could face if I disobeyed.
