Jin sat in his living room flipping through the TV channels trying to find something, anything to keep his mind off of being alone again. He took out his phone and scrolled though his contacts after giving up on the television. He clicked on a familiar name and held the phone up to his ear. It rang a few times before it was picked up. It was a females voice and he was a bit surprised.

"Hello?"

"Hi, is Taehyung there? It's Seokjin."

"Ah, your his old band member. We've met before, I'm Jung Eunji you know from apink. We've met at music awards shows and such. Also Teahyung went to the bathroom. He will hopefully be back soon."

"Are you two working together on something."

"No were just hanging out. Me and Taehyung have been friends for quite a while now."

"Ah, well I was just calling to see if he was busy. He is I suppose, so I'll leave you two alone."

"We were actually on our way to go eat. I don't think either of us would mind the company. Why don't u meet us in town at that new noodle restaurant. Taehyung had mentioned you live near where you were filming."

"I wouldn't want the impose."

"Nonsense he would be happy to see you, it can also be a surprise."

"Alright, I will see you soon then."

Jin hyung got up and left the house driving into town. He walked in and was spotted by EunJi who motioned for him to come over. When he walked up Taehyungs eyes lit up and he stood to hug his hyung.

"Jin hyung! What are you doing here?" He asked sitting back down on his side of the booth and patting the seat for Jin to sit.

"I called and EunJi said I could come and eat with you guys as a surprise." He smiled and looked at EunJi who held her hands up.

"She always knows what I need, after all that's what best friends are for." He said looking happily at her before turning his attention back to Jin. "What did you call about?"

"Ah, I just wanted to hang out I've been rather lonely since Namjoon left."

"Yeah you texted me about that, he left?" Jin played with a napkin and looked at the table.

"He said he overstayed his welcome. It was better this way, he needed to see his family."

"Last time I checked we were like his family, you never overstay your welcome with family."

"It's fine I'll see him again, he wants to throw a party to see everyone again." Eunji perked up at the mention of a get together.

"Omg a party! Have you decided how your going to plan it. I could help if you were willing to let me Jin oppa!"
Jin nodded he didn't honestly see why not.

"This is great, she's invited too right?"

"Of course it's our party, bring anyone you want Tae." They both smiled and made way too much noise. After they ordered and ate Eunji went to the bathroom leaving Tae and Jin alone.

"Tae are you blind she is literally made for you." Taehung raised an eyebrow.

"No I'm not blind, Eunji noona is my girlfriend." This time Jin was the one who was confused.

"She said that you two were just hanging out. You called her your best friend."

"Yeah, we don't really like being all lovey dovey. We act more like friends but we go on dates and do couple stuff. I'm glad we started talking, she really gets me."

"You and her are both very energetic," Taehyung just laughed and took a drink of his soda.

"So why don't you tell Namjoon how you feel?" He asked and Jin looked a bit panicked now.

"What do you mean." He shoved his hands in his pockets and turned his face away from the younger.

"He shouldn't of just left like he did, it was harsh. After all we are still basically his family." Jin let out a sigh of relief.

"It's fine, he really didn't do any harm. He did need to see his family, plus we will both see him at the party so there's no need to dwell on it."

"Whatever you say hyung." Eunji came back and they paid for their meals. Then they departed, exchanging numbers so the party could be planned sooner than later. Jin stopped by the park on his way home and just went to sit for a while. People watch maybe, he didn't really care. He wished he could tell someone how he's feeling, but he couldn't do that. They would know then and they would judge him. He leaned his head back and on the tree he sat against it closing his eyes. He wondered what it was like to have such a regular relationship like Taehyung did. One without so many complications, or fear for that matter. One that was worry free and not judged. Maybe if he got a girlfriend he could just forget about Namjoon and they could both live the halfway normal lives they were meant to. Or maybe Namjoon would return his love, both are just somewhat wishful thinking. Jin thought, getting up from the ground and walking to his car. Alone again, the thought while he drove home. He flipped through the radio stations before a familiar voice caught his attention. It was one of Yoongi's new hits, just as upbeat and loud like it used to be. Even if he can't sort things with Namjoon out, it will be nice to see everyone at least.
