The Archer & The Birb

The blue haired girl shook with fury. "HONOKA!" She yelled. Honoka, looking like she knew what was about to come, jumped and hid behind me, gripping my sleeve. The other girl cracked her knuckles in a intimidating way. I laughed nervously as I looked between both girls. Someone was definitely gonna die... or at least almost.

"U-Umi-chan... um... nice weather we're having right? Riiiiight?!" Honoka squeaked out in attempt to lower the blow that was gonna come. The amber eyed girl, known as Umi, smiled darkly. "Indeed..." She said now completely relaxed.

The fact that Umi was now more relaxed and was smiling sweetly made me nervous but Honoka just sighed in relief and finally walked towards her. "Yea-...!" Honoka was interrupted by a sudden pinch to the cheek. Umi' sweet smile quickly darkened in the matter of seconds. I gulped nervously, slightly tugging on the collar of my shirt.

Farewell Honoka Kousaka. It was great knowing you, it's a tragedy that we didn't get to talk more, especially cause you're such a cutie... I thought as I watched Umi tug on Honoka's cheeks more.

While I continued to watch this glorious display of affection, the ash haired girl popped out of nowhere behind me and spoke. "Hi!" I jumped and turned to look at said girl. I pressed a hand to my chest dramatically and pressed my other hand against my forehead. "You scared me! I almost fainted here..." she laughed softly, it was such a light and pleasing sort of laugh. Not an over the top obnoxious laugh, neither a dying seal sort of laugh, but simply a nice and comforting sort of laugh.

"Sorry, I just wanted to say hi. I didn't mean to scare you." I shook my head and grinned. "It's fine. The name's (Y/N) (L/N), pleasure to meet you!" I said moving my hand in front of me; to shake her hand. "Kotori Minami, nice to meet you too" she replied back shaking my hand and smiling angelically. Wow...

The blue haired girl then came over to us and introduced herself to me. "Umi Sonoda, nice to meet you" the girl said cooly. I blushed slightly and cleared my throat. "(Y/N) (L/N), nice to meet you too." She smiled back slightly. Honoka dragged herself dramatically towards us, looking as if she had been in a desert for weeks. "(Y-Y/N)-chan, heeeeeeeelp....!" I snickered, finding her current state tragically comical.

Honoka pouted and poked my shoulder. "Mou! (Y/N)-chan! It's not funny! I'm sure you wouldn't be laughing if Umi had done it to you!" I fell silent as I played the scenario in my head. I gulped and laughed nervously nodding silently in agreement.

~Timeskip~

After chatting for a while, we started to head back to class. They left their stuff at their desks. I left my stuff as well, but that was when I noticed that I didn't have my phone on me. I pouted and grumbled quietly to myself. The trio walked to me.

"Something wrong?" they asked. "I think I left my phone on the rooftop." The three of them suddenly had a determined glint in their eyes. "Do you want me to go with you?" the trio asked at the same time. I smiled and shook my head.

"No, I'm fine. I'll go by myself." They looked disappointed but nodded. I then started heading back to the rooftop. I tried to remember which stairs took me there but I had forgotten. All of the sudden I was...
