Sunday Morning

It's already 2am and Donny isn't home yet. You call & message Donny a couple of times but his phone was probably turned off. You were worried if he's alright because earlier, he told you that he'd be home by 11pm. Where is Donny???? You decided to just go back to sleep because you were still tired from running around the park, trying to catch your daughter all afternoon. Yes, you are the wife of THE Donny Pangilinan and also the mother of his child. He still is famous and you were really glad that his fans love you and your daughter.

*beep, beep, beep...*
The alarm goes off and it's already 7 in the morning. You look at the small figure sleeping beside you, and there you see your peaceful 3-year old daughter still asleep. You sit up to see Donny's phone already on the bedside table. Greaaat. I wonder what time he went home. You quickly wash your face and gargle first before heading to the kitchen to cook breakfast. As you come out of your room, you see a tall person with messy hair, wearing an apron, whisking the waffle mix and frying bacon - your favorite combo. You sneak up to him from behind and hug him from the back.

"Hi love, good morning" a smiling Donny turns around to face you and plants a good morning kiss on your forehead. He then turns back to what he's cooking so you decided to sit by the bar.

"What time did you get home btw?" you asked.

"Im sorry y/n, i went home around 4am already. They asked me to shoot a few more scenes because we have a tight schedule this week. Also, my phone died and i forgot to bring my cable & powerbank. I just saw your messages when i charged my phone a little while ago." He answered, giving you an apologetic look.

"Oh. Thats okay love, as long as you're home now, everything's fine. I can finish cooking those. Just go back to sleep now because its just 7!!! I know you're tired and sleepy." You said, giving him a reassuring smile.

"No love, it's okay. Besides, i really miss cooking plus its a Sunday and i bet you're still tired from catching y/cn (child's name)." Donny replied, laughing a bit. You just smile because despite his busy schedule, he makes sure that he is home on Sundays to spend quality time with your family.

Silence then fills the air as you watch him fry the bacon but after a few minutes, both of you hear a yawn and you look to where it was coming from. You see a wide smile on Donny's face as he sees your daughter walking down the stairs. He quickly turns off the stove and put the food on the plates. He then walks to her so you decided to prepare the table. Donny pulls y/cn for a hug and you hear her say "i missed you dad!! Mom and i went to the park yesterday and she wasnt able to catch me!! Im such a fast runner!!".

You can't help but smile because it never really has sinked in to you that you are married to the love of your life for 5 years now and the fact that you now have a family with him. You now see y/cn being piggybacked by him then he puts her down beside you so that you can all start eating. Donny starts slicing her waffles & bacon.

"This is really good!! Waffles and bacon are my favorite" y/cn says as she takes another big bite, smiling in between chewing.

"You're just like your mom" Donny said.

Donny stood up & went up to your room but he quickly went down too. He then sat on his chair and sneakily took a photo of you and y/cn but you noticed.

"No need to be sneaky when taking a picture of us yknow. Atleast tell me too because im really ugly right now and knowing you, you'd probably post that" you laughed as he smiled.

"Don't worry, y/n. You look gorgeous whatever the situation. Also, i already posted it." He smirked. You can't help but blush at his remark.

"You dont have to be such a joker!!! Let me see." You replied. He then hands you his phone and you check the photo. He stands up but you don't mind him. You find him sitting beside you and burying his face into your neck. This is absolutely one of the best feelings. You read his caption in instagram and it said "Sunday morning with the love of my life and our mini y/n. #blessed". You then check his profile and you see another new post by him and it was you hugging y/cn, both of you still asleep. You read the caption and it says "One of the things that I am really thankful for is being able to come home to my family. It really doesn't matter how exhausted I am from work because it has always been and will always be worth it." WHAT DID I DO IN MY PAST LIFE TO DESERVE YOU, DONATO ANTONIO ??!?!?!!

"I know you're blushing, love" he smiled as he kisses your cheek. I guess i am, i mean who wouldn't have a zoo in their stomach if the love of their life adores them?

"Mom, dad! I'm done eating." Y/cn smiles as she looks at both of you. You snap back into reality. You then ask Donny to give her a bath and he nods. You fix all the plates and wash them.

As you finished, y/cn runs to you, all done with her morning routine and already dressed up for the Mass in the chapel of your village. You quickly turn on the television and put it on Disney Junior to entertain her while you fix yourself. After a few minutes, Donny comes out of the bathroom with only a towel wrapped around his torso and you can't help but stare at him, specifically his abs. You didn't notice what you were doing until he went near you and kissed your lips. You can't help but smile like an idiot. He laughs at you and so you decide to finally take a bath.

You get out of the shower only to find yourself alone in the room so you guessed that Donny was probably with y/cn downstairs. You hurriedly put on your clothes since it was already 8:50 and the mass starts at 9:30. You still have to drive for 10 minutes because it's a bit far from your house. As you were wearing your pants, Donny suddenly comes in causing you to scream in surprise.

"Love, why are you so surprised? It's just me." He smirked.

"Hay Donato, you never fail to surprise me. Literally. Watch y/cn downstairs first while i do my makeup" You said laughing a bit.

"Haha. Alright, but it's almost 9:00!!" He said before leaving you alone in the room.

After 10 minutes, you come out of your room and Donny just stares at you like he just saw the most beautiful person in his life, aka you..... ofc aside from his mom. Y/cn then runs up to you and tells you "Mom!!! You're so beautiful!!! Isn't she, dad?". Donny walks to you and kisses your nose before saying "Yes. She is absolutely beautiful. In and out. Im proud as heck to call her mine." You hear him whisper into your ear the last sentence causing you to blush..... again. "Lets go na nga!" You say.

You all head out and Donny opens the door of your car. He lets you sit first before he hands you y/cn because she wants to sit with you. Donny goes to the driver's seat and starts the engine. As he starts to drive, he grabs your hand and intertwines it with his..... just like what he would always do when you two were still dating.
