Basketball Game

It was a typical friday afternoon. No scratch that - it was a not so typical friday night. You were chatting with friends while waiting for the basketball team to end their training. But on fridays, youre usually already home before 6pm, in bed, and watching movies.

"Lions on three! One, two, three!"
"LIONS!!!"

As you heard them finish up their huddle, you immediately turn your head to check if they were really done and yes, they were. As soon as each player departed from the center of the court, you see this tall, handsome, and..... really sweaty guy jogging towards you while still smiling.

"Babe" he says as he grabs your hand since he was standing up and you were still seated.
You just raise your eyebrow and stare at him - his face dropping as if he did a crime.
"Baaaabe hi hi hi were already done" he says as you continue to just stare at him even if deep inside, you were already laughing out loud.
"Heyyy sorry that i made you wait too long. You couldve gone home earlier. Sorry" he pouts at you and he lowers himself so that youd be at the same level, facing each other eye to eye.

You suddenly burst out laughing.

"HAHAHAH DONNY YOU SHOULDVE SEEN YOUR FACE" you tell Donny, aka your boyfriend.
"Wtf y/n ?? That wasnt funny!!!" Donny says as he buries his face into his hands
"Haha sorry!  Anyway, dont worry about me because i dont really mind waiting for you. Lets get your things na" he smiles and nods. The two of you stood up and went down the bleachers to grab his bag and jug.

"Bye coach! Bye guys, we'll go ahead" donny shouts as you two head out the door.
Everyone waves at you guys so you wave back at them.

"Soooo are you ready for tomorrow's game?" You ask.

"Yup! Im really praying that we'd win." He then looks at you with a smile plastered on his face.
"Of course you will. Just have faith in Him okay? And take a rest agad. Sleep early okay?" You assure him.

You continue to walk out of your school building and quickly see kuya manny waiting a few meters away from the both of you.

"Hi kuya manny" the both of you greet him at the same time.
"Haha sabay pa talaga kayo! Sige sakay na kayo para makauwi na tayo. May game ka pa bukas diba, donny? Finals ba?" He says as you enter the back seat with donny.
"Yes kuya manny. And hatid nalang po muna natin si y/n" kuya manny nods.
He already knows where you live since donny brings you home every wednesday and friday night.

As the car heads out to the main highway, you noticed that donny was slowly dozing off; his head bobbing like those dogs on a car's dashboard.

"Dons" you say while tapping him gently but he didnt move.
"Donnyyyy" you repeat his name & still no movement.

You decided to shake him a little and he slowly opened his eyes - tiredness evident in his dark brown eyes.
You then tapped your shoulder, signaling him to rest his head on it. He quickly smiles and mouths a thank you, and quickly, he was already asleep.

It was already 6:25pm and you were already feeling sleepy so you decided to rest your head on his head and you doze off in an instant.

After sometime, you felt someone put a jacket on you - it was donny.

"Youre shivering. Don't worry, i turned the ac off na" he says.
"Yeah just felt a little cold kanina. Thanks dons" you reply.

After a few minutes, kuya manny stops the car in front of your house. Donny opens the door and goes out first before reaching his hand towards you to help you get out of their car. You thank kuya manny and then donny walks you to your door.
