"So class, since we still have a few minutes left, ill give you this time to get to know your seatmates. Just dont be too loud."

As everyone started facing their partners, i quickly turned to the guy beside me and introduced myself.

"Hey, im y/n"
"Youre pretty. Hi again, im donny, nice to meet you"

Oh my god. He just called me pretty. I mean, im not gonna lie! He's good looking ah

"What do you need? No need to joke around ah joke hahah thanks dons"
"Dons?"
"Yup. Ill be calling you Dons since its shorter than Do-nny if thats fine with you"
"Thats fine with me, dont worry. Soooo tell me about your favoirtes first then ill tell mine"
"Alright. So i love the color mustard yellow, i love romcom movies, i love waffles, i love going to the beach, i love making videos, aaand uhm i actually dont know anymore. Your turn!"
"Nice one y/n. I actually love romcom movies too. I love the color black, i love doing sports - specifically basketball and track. Im a cross country runner yknow haha i also love eating HAHHA. And wait what do you mean making videos?"
"Ohhh an athlete.... wow idol ah! And uhm i make youtube videos! Like vlogs and makeup stuff. Yeah, stuff like those"
"Oh great! I have a feeling you and my sister will get along real well!! Shes a youtuber too! Ill introduce her to you later!"
"Omg omg id love that!!!"
"So tell me more about you" you ask after a few seconds of silence.
"Well, i have 4 other siblings, my favorite band is LANY, i love sour tapes, and yeah"
"Omg i love lany too!!! Whats your favorite song by them?" You ask.
"Pink skies! What about you?"
"Like you lots! Well actually, i love all their songs!! Okay so uhm next, do you model for brands or are you like a personality?"
"Well i wouldn't really say that im a model but ive appeared in some magazines alongside my family since my parents are personalities"
"Omg theyre celebrities??"
"My mom's an actor while my dad was a news anchor. Hes now a motivational speaker, etc.. He does lots of things" donny humbly says
"Ohhh that explains why you look familiar. I think ive seen you in a cover of a sports magazine!" You exclaim. Donny chuckles lightly and responds a little too loud
"OH YEAH, YOURE A TRIATHLETE RIGHT?!?!"
"Omg donny everyones looking at us now" you whisper, loud enough for him to hear. You go on by saying "but yes, im a triathlete. My whole family actually. Maybe we should join one together? Haha"
"That would be awesome!" Donny says

You guys talk about your lives more and more u til it was time for lunch. Seems weird to easily open up to someone you just met but with Donny, it feels like youve known him since forever.

"Okay everybody, please be back in this classroom before 1:00." Mrs. Hamptons says
"Yes Mrs. Hamptons" everyone responds

And before you know it, the whole classroom was empty, leaving you and donny there.

"Sooo, are you going with someone this recess?" He asks
"Well actually, nope. I know no one from here. Go to your friends na, ill stay he-"

He doesnt let you continue with what you were supposed to say

"What, y/n?? Come with me! Ill introduce you to my friends!!! My friends are your friends now, since were friends"
"Really, donny??? That would be great! Thank you so much!!"

You guys head to the cafeteria and there you see a group of girls and boys waving at donny (sicne he was waving back at them"

"Y/n, dont be nervous!" He tells you.

Okay, so im actually really nervous right now because ill be meeting his friends. I dont want to be awkward and maybe yknow, embarrass myself.

Donny grabs your hand and looks at you.
You being quite confused still goes with the flow.
You walk through the cafeteria crowd, heading to a table at the other end of the entrance.

"HEY GUYSSSSS" donny says to a bunch of guys and girls
"Hey dons"
"Uy donny"
"Cous, youre here! What took you so long?" The people replied.

"Oh sorry, we went a little bit overtime with Mrs. Hamptons' class. Oh yeah, this is y/n. Shes new here and apparently, im her only friend as of now so yeah guys, be nice to her ah" donny says.

"Omg hi girlllll, youre so pretty"
"Hi y/n! You can sit with us everyday! Here, sit beside me" two girls exclaim

You smile at them and greet back a hi and sure but just as you were about to sit beside the girl, a chinito guy stops you and says

"Wait lang, why are you guys nakaholding hands?? DONNY AH DUMADAMOVES" someone shouts and suddenly, a flash appears right before you. Turns out that they took a pic of the both of you.
"OMG OO NGA???? DONNY IKAW AH"
"STEL, YOUR COUSIN'S ALL GROWN UP"

You quickly look at donny and remove your hand from his. You both forgot that you were still holding each others hand.

Donny looks at you as if he was saying sorry. You just smile at him and laugh with his friends.

Lunch time went by quickly but with the hour given to you, you were able to get along with his friends and now, you consider them yours too.

You walk back to class with the barkada, with donny draping his arm over your shoulders, while the teasing never stops.

And in that moment, you felt butterflies in your stomach.

You look at donny and admire his face.

This guy is different. Is this what an attraction to someone feels like?
