Cupid Love(Rise Of The Guardians FanFic)

1 Month Later...

(Ana's POV)

It's been a month since I met the guardians... Manny hasn't talked to me either again, putting me back to where I first started...

Even on Christmas I didn't see any guardians, even North!! It was back to the lonely me, shooting love arrows at humans who needed help with their love life.

I walked around town passing humans as they walk by me, and of course not seeing me at all. I walked around a corner and suddenly regretted it. I looked up to find Jack flying around in a snowball fight with a boy...

"Jack I'm going to get you!" A boy yelled chasing Jack with a snowball gripped in his hand.

"Oh no your not Jamie!" Jack shouted back grabbing snow from the ground, forming it into a ball. He threw it at Jamie and it hit him straight on the face. I chuckled as I saw him wipe the freezing snow off.

"Ahh that's no fair...your a guardian..." Jamie whined pouting. I saw Jack laugh at his expression and he quickly apologized and they started talking silently together.

I became invisible and slowly made myself to them trying to hear what they were talking about...

"Hey Hack it's almost Valentines Day!! I wonder if Cupid is actually real..." Jamie quietly said excitingly. Shock hit me when he said my name, or cover name I guess. I walked toward them slowly, now interested in their conversation.

"Cupid?" Jack asked with an confused face.

"Jack don't you know Cupid? She's basically the goddess of love or whatever...they keep calling her a guy, but I believe she's a girl." Jamie explained.

"Wait...goddess of love?" Jack asked frowning.

"Yeah, haven't you heard of her? Valentines Day is basically her 'holiday' or something like that... It's on February 14, it's tomorrow!" Jamie continued.

Wait tomorrow? That's that day I was chosen...that means what Jamie is saying is true...well I guess not the goddess part but really? Am I really believed in?

I stood next to Jack and Jamie a couple yards away and stood there curiously. I wanted to know more about what the humans believed about me, so why not now?

I made myself visible and watched Jamie's face light up of shock and happiness. I looked up at Jack's and saw shock and curiousity.

"Oh my gosh is that Cupid?!" Jamie asked excitingly, running up to me.

I looked down at his face and smiled. I pat my hand in his head and looked up at Jack. He had an confused face on as he watched me pat Jamie's head.

"Hi little boy, it's nice to meet you." I greeted.

"So it is you Cupid, I knew it! You really are a girl!" He replied back.

"So Cupid, it's been awhile." Jack quietly greeted, walking up to us.

"Yeah." I replied smiling faintly at him.

"Jack, you know Cupid!?" Jamie asked with his mouth wide open.

"Yes he does and if you don't mind like to talk to him for a bit." I replied for him eyeing Jack.

"Yeah Jamie it's late now, I think you should better get home." Jack agreed motioning Jamie to head home.

With that Jamie ran towards a near by house, waving us good bye. I smiled in response and turned my attention to Jack. This was going to be a long night...

"So Cupid...can you now explain what happened back there?" Jack asked me.

We were sitting on top of a tall tree in the park, it was dark out so no humans

Swerve around.

"Well...I was flying around town when I stopped you playing with a boy...I secretly snuck up on you and heard you guys talking about me..." I explained slowly. I looked up to face Jack to see his face turned a bit red making me chuckle.

"So Valentines day. Anything you know about that?" Jack asked next.

I remembered Manny telling me to act clueless so shook my head no in response. "That was my fist time I heard about it..." I answered truthfully. It was true and all but I couldn't tell him it was the day I was chosen. That would make things complicated.

"So how did you escape me last time we met?" He asked me curiously.

"Well. That same day I found out I had the power of invisibility, so I escaped you easily, that also explains me coming out of nowhere when you where talking to Jamie earlier." I explained.

He nodded his head in response and we sat there quietly when Jack asked me something. "So Cupid you really don't know who you are huh."

"Y-Yeah." I lied looking down at my hands. I did know how I died and my past life,but Manny wanted me to keep that a secret...

I looked up at Jack and starred into his blue eyes...he looked down at me and smiled...I smiled back and felt my cheeks heat up.

'Your suppose to spread love Ana! Your not suppose to fall in love!' I screamed at myself shaking my head trying to get the thought out of my head.

"Well I guess I have to leave now." I said, standing up from my branch.

"Can't you stay a little longer?" Jack's voice quietly asked behind me. I lifted my wings and turned my head back to Jack. I gave him a sad smile and flew away into the night. I kept my eyes locked on Jack's body, becoming smaller and smaller as I fly farther away from him.

I landed on a near by building and look at the town below me. I watched as the town streets were busy around me and the cars zooming down the road.

I look at the building across from me and saw the most weirdest thing... A back horse made of sand stared at me with its golden eyes watching me... I look back at it and realized it was one of the horse that attacked The Guardians at North's Workshop!!

I kept my eyes on it and lifted my bow for protection. I held it up, about to shoot at it when a shadowed figure appeared from the ground next to the wild horse. Pitch... I remembered that name...Jack said it when I first met him at the factory.

I glued my eyes in the figure and saw Pitch's golden eyes look into mine. I was weird...why don't I feel fear like I did when I first met him?

I gave Pitch one last look and flew into the other direction becoming invisible. I looked back over my shoulder and saw nothing there...All I saw was a big pile of of black sand.
