Dessert ch. 33

*****Still Louis POV*****

The wait staff sets down all of the food at the same time all facing the same way looking the exact same all the way down the table on both sides. We thank the waitstaff and one by one they leave the table making their way back into kitchen. Our guests are enjoying the nice dinner we have arranged and enjoying each others company. There are lots of little individual conversations occurring between the twenty something people at this event we have arranged for tonight.

-----Forty minutes into the meal----

There is still lots of conversing between people but the night is still young, although our dinner is slowly drawing to an end. The waitstaff cleared our table as people still continued on with their conversations and are now making their rounds to reset the table for dessert. Each person receiving a napkin, spoon, and fork along with an empty water glass that is shortly filled up by a trailing waitstaff member. One by one each waiter makes way back into the kitchen to retrieve the dessert plates. Once again they make their way to the table and set down the desserts all facing the same direction...god I hope they didn't fuck this up.

Taylor reaches for her fork and begins eating the cheesecake that was not to recently prepared for us.

"Louis there is no way I'm going to be able to eat this whole piece of cheesecake by myself, would you mind spilling it with me?"

"I would love to help you eat a rather lager piece of cheesecake with you babe." I say and help her eat her way through the cheesecake. I'm doing so we slowly reveal the message written on the plate. Taylor looks at me with confusion, she slowly pushes the cheesecake to the side of the plate reading the message. As she reveals each word she says it aloud.

"Will...you...marry...me?" She finishes reading the message painted on the plate and faces me. I now am down on one knee with the beautiful diamond ring to which I ask her the big question.

"Taylor, I've had feelings for you since the second I laid my eyes on you that night we had dinner for the fist time at Nandos, before we knew where anything was going. Auditioning and making it into X-Factor was the best thing that ever happened to me. Not because I got my career going, but because I met you. I don't know what the future holds for us, but I hope the future holds us together. I know I'm an idiot, and...I tend to screw things up...just a little bit, but you stand by me no matter how bad I screw it up. I want to start our own family together, we'd make some awesome babies half idiotic, immature, wild child half beautiful, smart ,and funny. Those are gonna be some beautiful babies, because they'll be our babies! The future is ahead of us and we shall take on the future each day as it comes, together. I love you with all my heart and will love you until the day I die and continue loving you until you join me and we continue our love. Taylor Marie Payne will you marry me?" Waiting for a response I stand on one knee, opening the ring box revealing the ring.

"Yes! Louis, yes!" She says. I slide the ring onto her finger. "Louis this is so beautiful! Oh my god" she says taking another look at the huge diamond to which I have just placed on her finger.

She places her hands on my cheeks and she pulls me up to kiss her. Then the whistling, clapping, and cheering begins. After Taylor and I long and passionate kiss we pull apart and we retake our seats.

"Let me see! Let me see!" Perrie cheers and grabs Taylor's hand to look at the huge stone I placed on Taylor's finger. "Holy shit!" Perrie shouts turning many heads. "Sorry." She say and we laugh. "Thats beautiful and huge!"

"Let me see..." Harry says doubting Perrie's reaction to the ring. "Holy shit that's a big rock!" Harry says this time not turning as many heads, thankfully. "It's beautiful Taylor." Harry says and Taylor thanks him. Taylor continues showing off her ring to those at our table.

"Congratulations man!" Harry says giving me a pat on the back

"Thanks!" I say back.

"I'm really happy for you Lou, you got the girl you loved and now your marrying her!"

"Yeah crazy isn't it?"

"It really is man." He says and the lads too start congratulating me.

"Congratulations Lou!" Niall tells me and I thank him.

"Congrats mate!" Zayn tells me and I thank him too.

"So I guess I can call you my brother now huh?" Liam asks me.

"Yeah I guess you can." I say and we both laugh.

"Aye, congratulations man!" He says to me. "You mean so much to Taylor and you make her so happy. I'm just so happy to see her marrying someone who she really cares and out and someone who really cares about her.

"Thanks Li."

"For what?" He asks.

"Letting me date your sister. I mean I know it's gotta be really weird for your sister to be dating one of your best friend and then later in life finding out that their getting married."

"It was a little awkward at first, but I got over it, seeing two people I care about being happy together, and that's no place for me to say 'no'."

"Thanks." I say once more.

"Sure Lou. Congratulations!" Liam tells me and I thank him once more.

"Thanks." I say once more and we give each other a well deserved and much needed bro hug.

We finish dinner and little by little everyone files out of the restaurant congratulating Taylor and I. And congratulate the boys and I for our next album and tour. As each person leave we thank and hug them before they head out the doors to their cars.

"Is that everybody?" Harry asks.

"Yep!" Niall says.

"Well I think that was a pretty successful dinner, we killed two bird with one stone."

"Yeah, next time we have anything like this it'll be the wedding." I joke.

"Yep, so do you guys wanna stick around or should we all head back to the flat?"

"Flat! I'm going home!" Niall says with some sass.

"It's a long ride back." I say and Liam nods in agreement.

"Yeah, let's just head back then we can go from there.

"Sounds good." Harry says. We all walk out the doors of the restaurant thanking all of the waitstaff on the way out. Taylor and I walk to the car, and I being the gentleman that I am I open the door for her to get in and shut it behind her.

*Im sorry this was kinda short but THEIR ENGAGED NOW!!!!!!! So that makes it all better! Next chapter I was thinking of making it a little bit sexual...😛 comment what ya think about that little idea. I want to apologize for updating at really, really weird times I don't know what's wrong with me I just decide to update when ever so sorry about that.
