Harry cannot stay here for this entire month! I don’t even know who he is. He could be a total creeper and I wouldn’t even know. We barely even know each other. Hell, I’ve only spoken to him maybe ten times or less! Mom can’t agree to let this happen.
"I will" Harry says.
Mom slaps her hands together in a cheerful manor. "Perfect! Now you don’t have to stay here the whole time of course. We have a guest bedroom next to Ana’s where you can sleep and you can eat whatever you find in our kitchen. I give you permission to make yourself right at home!"
For some odd reason, mom is extra chipper. I know she is excited for the trip. She hasn’t really vacationed alone since her Caribbean cruise with Tim her ex-boyfriend over a year ago.
I cross my arms pouting. This is ridiculous.
"Thank you. I’ll try my best" Harry said genuinely smiling.
"I’ll come over too after school to hang out with you lads!"
"That would be great"
I feel a little better. As long as Louis doesn’t leave me completely alone with Harry this month, then it won’t be half as bad.
"Well, sweetheart, I have to go and start packing. My flight leaves early morning" Mom leans forward and gives me a kiss on the forehead.
"We better get going also. I got to get Harry here home pretty soon."
The boys both sit up off the couch and head for the door.
I open it for them and give Lou a hug on the way out.
"Er, Ana?" Harry says.
"I’ll be over around 6am to get you for class, if that’s okay"
"That works, thank you"
I don’t hug Harry.
"
Bye love! See you tomorrow at school!"
I shut the door and start trudging my legs up the stairs to my bedroom. I am so exhausted. When I get inside my room and dive into my comforter and close my eyes.
"Sleeeeep."

HARRY’S POV
Louis starts the truck engine.
"That girl is there is not going to like you staying the night with her, mate"
I sigh. "Well, what the hell do you want me to do about it? I’m not going to let her stay alone. Especially for a whole month! That’s way too dangerous. "
"Okay, but she obviously doesn’t like you"
"Yeah, I’ve caught on to that." I scoff.
Louis inhales deeply.
"Mate, I don't mean to offend you. You know that. But maybe it's your reputation here at school."
"What's that supposed to mean?" I snap.
He seems nervous.
"Girls in class know you as the "player". The lad that can get any girl he wants and that has hooked up with half the school. I really don't mean to say this in a bad way, I hope you know that"
"WHAT THE HELL!"
My blood is boiling and I know my face is beginning to turn deep red.
"That's not true! I've only been intimate with a few girls. The rest were just casual snogs."
"It just comes off rubbing bad to the girls in class"
I sigh.
"Well, I can't do anything about that. When I'm attracted to someone, I go for it."
"Hmmm" Louis rubs his chin.
"What?"
"So, is that why you offered to stay with Ana?"
"No!"
"Oh please Hazza, I can see the way that you look at her. And I know it bugs you that she doesn't even acknowledge you."
I look down at my hands and twist the sterling silver ring between my fingers.
Reaching for the radio volume, I turn it up to end our conversation. I don't want to talk or think about it anymore.
Louis and I have been friends for a good while. We met during our audition of the U.K Factor. We had instantly kicked it off. It was just one of those good friendships where you can communicate so easily with each other. And the fact that we were both going through the media spotlight at the same time, it was easy to connect. Eleanor was a fan of One Direction and she was a friend of a gal I worked with at the bakery. I introduced them and they hit it off quite nicely.
I never did tell Louis that I secretly wanted El, but I knew that they had fit perfectly together.
After losing Xfactor we bought a flat together and lived their for several months. We decided to separate after Simon sat down with us after the post production of our first record.
He told us that is we had any interest in living a normal life before the mass media sinks in, we should move out to the states and partcipate in normal HS.
Lou and I both took his advice and moved out to the states where we enrolled in Richmond Fields high. I'm not one that is particularly interested in school, but if Simon says that I should attempy a normal life before everything changes, I better take his advice.
He is the Yoda of the music industry. I like him.
During the first half of the school year I spent it back in my hometown, Holms chapel with my mom and sister Gemma. Louis stayed down here because he actually enjoyed class, he stayed with his mother, step dad and all of his sisters.
I know that the only reason Lou told Ana that he couldn't stay the night with her was because he wants to spend as much time with his family and El.
I came back to Richmond Fields after spring break, giving the normal life one more try. Our record will be released shortly and Simon told us that nothing will be the same.
I rented a condo out here in Washington a few miles from the high school. I miss Gemma and mom sometimes, but they both know everything is for the best.
"I'm sorry for snapping at you, Lou"
I turn the radio and my thoughts down.
"It's alright lad, I understand."
The truck turned one last block and we arrived at my condo.
"I'll give you a call tomorrow before class. Don't forget, you have to be at Ana's in the morning," He winks at me.
I laugh and shut the door and give him a sarcastic salute.
I turn and trudge towards the front door.
I can't get Ana off of my mind..
