He answered almost instantly. "I'm a Mormon. We're against LGBTQ rights as well." I turned pale. I couldn't have told him that I was gay. Or that I supported it. He obviously noticed because he asked me, "Are you ok?"

"Sure!" I almost squeaked. I had to know. He didn't seem too happy saying that he was against gay rights. He looked like he forced himself today it, like something inside him was making him do it. I've seen that happen before. Where I had to hide it from my homophobic friends and enemies. He was just like me. Hiding it forever. When I looked at him, I could see me. Confused. Like he was some sort of mirror.

"Well," I said after the 20 seconds of silence after I literally screamed at him. "That will be 20£. He gave me exactly that number and left before I stopped him. "Do your parents get out of hand with the....anti gay thing? Wait, are you a Lester?" He looked like he was about to explode. It looked like he hated being known as a Lester. He just blurts out after a couple second s of waiting, "They are Lesters and so am I." He sat down in a random chair close to my aisle. "I'm actually ok with gays. I don't understand them, yes, but I can accept that people want to be different." Oh he had so much to learn.

"Here," I started writing on his receipt furiously so Tyler didn't catch me slacking off. "My number. If you want to talk about parents." He looked at me weirdly. We just met and now he wants to be my friend? Is he gay? He must have been thinking. "Trust me, I'm a good comforter. I'm like you! I accept them." He smiled and left. I didn't catch his name, but I made a new friend, which is important right now.
