Mirror - Phan

    "Dan?" I shivered while running down the Tesco doorway.  I wiped my feet on the soft, maroon carpet. I needed to see him again. At his work. Where none of the parents are. I had questions for him.

"Dan! Daniel!!" I yelled while making my way to Cashier 3. Only to find Dan, not there. Where was he? No one was there today other than the 3 weeks where someone took over, most likely Dan's boss. Tyler was his name.

    But why wasn't Dan or Tyler here?! Why was I going nuts over this? I need answers! After weeks and weeks of knowing Dan I must know! Who is he? Why did he lie about his mom? How do my parents know him? And weirdly, I want to know if he's in a relationship.

    My thoughts were interrupted by the cashier next to 3. Chris, as it said on the tag. Weirdly, I look at certain cashier's tags but didn't look at Dan's the first time we met.

    "That cashier is closed. But it seems that you have nothing to purchase." He said. I sighed quickly while looking at this skeptical, thin, young man. "I'm looking for the cashier who works at this time on 3. I wanted to talk to him."

    "Urgent? I can tell." Chris quietly stated. "Hello." He says to another customer attempting to check out food. It was just an old woman, nothing important.

    I slammed my fists on the counter, staring slowly up at the brown haired guy who is now glaring at me. "Dan isn't here anymore." What? "What do you mean 'anymore?'"

    "Ugh. Ask too many questions."

    "Please! Something happened! I need to speak to him!"

    "I seriously can't talk about it or ILL GET FIRED LIKE HE DID!" He then released. The old woman was startled, actually taking note of the situation now. The whole store was looking at this point. He just looked mortified, like he is just about to get his head chopped off.

    "Well thanks." Chris said sarcastically when exiting the store with a box of all his personal things.

    "Sorry you had to turn in your apron." I replied.

    "Yeah. Well it's not like that Tesco is going to stay long after anyways."

    "What do you mean?"

    "Again. Stop asking questions. It's what got you escorted out of the Tesco."

    "You don't work there anymore. You can tell me." I said desperately.

    "Ugh.......fine." He says after two minutes. "But I'll take you to Dan's place in my car. Since you seem to not have one."

    As he said that I felt a small drop of liquid reach my forehead. Then see the floor slowly turn a more dark color. Then a buttload of rain hitting my body. We run to we're Chris's car is and speedily get in.
