"SHIRO! COME BACK HERE!," master yelled.

I slammed open the massive pair of doors from master's office and sped down the hallways, heading away from the academy. I couldn't hear, see, and think. All I could think about was, Run. Run. Run.

"KIRYU, NOW!," I commanded while I transformed into my ANIMA.

By that, all of my strength is a lot stronger than the normal person. My speed, agility, and strength...All of it, is all natural for a demi-human...Which means...I can get away faster.

From a distance, I could hear master commanding me to come back... But...after all that he has done to me....I don't ever plan on coming back. He has betrayed me. But why? My master has cared for me, gave me a home, and fed me. But even so, it seems that they were all a lie...To use me for his own selfish needs. Where will I run off to, now that I don't have a home anymore? Who would care and protect me?

Without a destination in mind, I reached the innermost parts of the forest where the most dangerous creatures roam

Without a destination in mind, I reached the innermost parts of the forest where the most dangerous creatures roam. I didn't mind the branches that scraped against my skin under the full moon. I was broken. Crows cried, sympathizing my existence. I panted from every step that I take....

"Sorry, Kiryu.....just a little longer," I said, encouraging my ANIMA to hold up a little while longer, just enough to get far, far away.

"Just a little more...." I claimed.

As I came in contact within the deep dark forest, the trees became thicker, blocking out the full moon. The forest became more dangerous, with more horrifying creatures. With that, my bare feet tripped over a tree root and I collapsed to the hard, cold ground, soaked by the tears rolling down my face.

With my vision blurred by my tears, I heard a deep growl, not to far from me...In any case, I couldn't protect myself...

I'm so stupid...

Panicking, I tried to get myself back up but, my strength wasn't nearly enough. Frightened, I became more and more tired, my hair a mess , my skin, all wounded as I lie down on the cold forest floor.

Kiryu had already lost his energy and with that, my ANIMA disappeared, leaving me even more vulnerable to creatures. As I thought...nothing can save me now...

A tear ran down my cheek as I gripped on tightly to my Oka-san's memento around my neck, holding it close to chest. This is my only keepsake of mama...

The creature got closer and closer...with its graceful movements, ready to attack. If I could, I would've protected myself...but right now, I couldn't think straight.

The last thing I remembered, was a pair of glowing blue eyes that stared me down...

This is the end...
