It has been the next day...the day of our one-on-one battle. I was always born ready...I'm just that confident but, I might underestimate Rem's power. Even if his mana is 370, that doesn't mean that he is weaker than me. There are tons of other things to consider, such as strategy.
One of my strong points on the battlefield....is probably tactics. I usually crunch up all possibilities in my head, the tactics that cause the other Demi's moves...useless. That...and of course, mana is also one of my advantages. I can never get tired by using ANIMA.
Hopefully, Rem is the strong opponent that I'm looking for...I just itch for a good match. Like I said, the battlefield is my territory...and no one will push me out of my home. Because of that...I will win.
Confidently, I walked to class with a handful full of paperwork from this morning at Ji's office.
Ji was still back at the office, finishing his stack of paperwork and told me to go ahead of him. As I was told, I walked to class and settled the stacks of paper onto Ji's desk. It was still pretty early till school starts and I was the only one in the vacant classroom right now...
All the other Demi's were roaming around the hallways or loitering around the school yard, hanging out with others in wait for the bell to ring. I on the other hand...
What should I do? I still have plenty of time till then...
"Hm...I would actually like to go see the arena," I whispered to myself.
The arena, is the main battlefield for Demi's to fight in. But of course, it is only for rare occasions that we get to do so. Back in Sector, we only participate during major tests, when we go against other Demi's for an idea of your improvement. Master took it as a majorly test and had always took it seriously. Any Demi who take it lightly...will be expelled...because it is no joke...one hesitation and you are defeated by your opponent.
I wonder if it's the same here...
At the main entrance of the massive hall, I felt my heart race in excitement...
Today...this is my territory...
Cautiously, I stepped into my field and almost immediately, I felt the aura for battle. Two people went head to head in the middle of the field. And both....are very strong.
"Jus give up already, you aren't going to defeat me anyways," the Demi in white said.
"Is that so? Well we will see about that," the other said.
Both of them were in ANIMA form, one an owl...the other, a snake? Though, they didn't have a tail...their features were just like those of a snake, stealth and striking precision. All in all, they were at each other's neck, very evenly matched.
