"Lera, we'd better hurry." Izana reminded and I responded a yes hastily. Now we were about to explore Clarines as promised by the one and only Izana.

I decided to wear ordinary clothes to not attract much attention but being the magnetic public figure that he was, Izana wasn't unnoticeable by his people.

Many people bowed at the sight of him and seemed to notice me as well. Izana didn't mind the attention though.

He talked to his people and asked about their conditions. I could see he was a considerably caring king-to-be.

"Here, have our country's signature flower." Izana handed me a white lily which had a unique shade of red on the inside.

I took it and thanked him. "Shall we board the boat then?" he asked and I nodded.

Soon, we went on board with a bunch of other people. They were friendly and respectful with Izana and Izana wasn't strict or snobby with them.

Halfway across reaching our destination, I noticed a boy on board standing too close to the edge. He seemed to notice me and waved at me.

Before he lost his balance and fell into the lake.

Splash!

I quickly dived in after him. He was drowning and his body was underwater. I searched for him and finally found his body. Then, I carried him above water and he seemed to breathe again.

Thank goodness he was still alive.

The people on the ship gathered to pull us back up with a rope. I let the boy go up first before me.

"Are you okay??! Lera, you scared me! How could you consider endangering your life just like that?!?" Izana's worried expression flattered me.

"But...he needed someone to help. And I have swam ever since I was young too." I said, lifting my dripping self back to my seat.

He sighed before taking me into an embrace, making his clothes wet as well. "It didn't have to be you. Still, I'm glad both of you are okay." He murmured and I felt my cheeks flush.

"Um...Izana? Y-your clothes..." I said and he finally broke the hug. "Ah...don't worry, we can have a change of clothes on the island." He smiled to assure me.

The boy earlier came to meet me. "Um...miss? Thank you for saving me." He said shyly.

"No problem. I kind of feel guilty since it happened because you waved at me. What's your name?" I asked and his face lit up.

"I'm Sid! How about you, miss?" he asked.

"I'm Lera. Great to meet you Sid."

"So are you gonna marry Prince Izana?" he asked nonchalantly. I blushed slightly and Izana smirked to my reaction.

"Apparently, that is a possibility. What do you think about us, little boy?" Izana asked the boy and I nudged him a little, blushing like crazy.

"I hope you two get married! Miss Lera is kind and Prince Izana is a great man! I'm sure you two will make wonderful children!!" Sid said and my whole face turned red.

"Kyaaa! Sid, stoppp itt!" I yelled from my mind but Izana just chuckled. Once Sid went back to his mom, I felt like I could fit into this new kingdom.

"Such delightful children. Already thinking what grown-ups haven't planned." Izana stated and I shivered from the cold breeze hitting my wet body.

"Here." Izana said and I felt a warm sensation. He let me wear his upper coat.

"Um...thanks." I said and all he did was smile. "So what do you think about what Sid said earlier?"

His sudden question surprised me. "W-what do you mean? U-uh how to say....neutral?" I answered with glitches across my words.

I wondered how he felt about it. I wanted to ask. I wanted to know.

"Um...Iza-"

My words were cut off by the cabin boy's alert.

"We've arrived!"

"Shall we go then?" Izana offered his hand and I gladly took it.

"Sure!"

Our new adventure awaited on this lone island not very far from the mainland. Beyond our adventure awaited an even bigger matter......
