PAXTON
"Look dude or whatever, I mean no trouble. I'm just going to..."
Before I could finish my sentence, something hindered me from moving. It was a painful vibration around me. Like the air was constricting me with force.
"Don't be. We're just about to know each other more." The guy in the trench coat said.
"I... didn't do anything..." I voiced out in pain. The constriction was getting painful every second. I won't be able to breathe if it continues.
"How did you react with the pulse?" He calmly asked.
"I don't know! Please stop!"
"How did you react with the pulse!?" This time with more force in his words. He was getting mad. His hand was still covering one of his eyes and something was moving on that hand, it was a tattoo. I struggled to escape from the invisible constriction but to no avail. I was losing it; my breathing got heavier and my vision got blurry.
"If you don't answer my question, you'll face..."
SNAP!
I fell knees first in the cold pavement. My lungs started working and my eyes were swelling because of the sudden change of pressure.
"Or what? Let him meet your 'Lord'?" A voice boomed out behind me.
"Disturbing one's conversation is rude, seraphim." Seraphim? What was that?
"I have you know that constricting someone without them knowing is rude and rape-like. You hitting on young teenage boys now, Nexus?"
I tried to raise my head to see the guy who seems to be confronting Mr. Trench Coat. He was the same guy who helped me get inside the building, the businessman. He was still wearing his blue coat but it was unbuttoned, his gold tie wasn't there. His brown eyes were tantalizing yet again.
"You pathetic seraphim always getting in our way huh? Why don't you die and be done with it."
"You should know better." Businessman exclaimed.
"Disgraceful." Mr. Trench Coat said.
As I tried to stand up, the businessman approached me and patted my shoulder; whispering to me; "Stay down, cover your ears if you need to." What was that all about? My ears?
In that instance, a yellow glow erupted from his left hand; a trace of light then created an outline of a... sword?
"You want a fight Nexus? I'll give you one." The businessman blurted. With that, a sword flickered into his hand in which the outline came to be. It was a silver-gold sword with words engraved on it.
